"Disney marathon?" Virgil questioned, "why?"

"Because," Patton shrugged, handing Logan the dvd to set everything and plopping down on the couch, "it's fun."

Virgil bit his lip and just nodded, deciding that it was better to just shut up and watch the movies.

When the movie started to play, Logan sat down on the couch as well and silently offered Virgil something to drink and popcorn, which he gratefully accepted (who cares that they just had breakfast).

The room was silent as the movie played, aside from Patton making some jokes and puns.

When the movie ended, Patton got up and grabbed another movie from the box, Cinderella this time.

While Patton hummed along with the songs and Logan tried to shush him, Virgil inspected his nails.
He had seen Cinderella a hunderd times, it was one of the movies that had been popular in the group house.

When his nails got boring as well he started to look at his left hand, espacially the short white lines on it, small scars from glass that has been in there. His left arm was covered in scars. Scars from the bottle his father had hit him with and other "accidents'.

It was a bad habit, but when he was nervous, overwhelmed or just panicking, he dug his nails into his hand when he coulsnt fidget with something else.

Soon his hand became boring too and he just tapped his fongers together. Hands were awkward, he never knew what to do with his hands.

When he solved the hand dillema, he turned his attention back to Cinderella, which was almost finsihed. (He spend a really long time figuring out what to do with his hands didn't he?)

Eventually, the credits started to pkay and Patton stood up, strecthing,
"That was fun! Anyone else hungy?"

"You just ate a giant bowl of popcorn Patton" Logan pointed out, "I suggest we let lunch be for now. What about you, Virgil?"

"I, uh, I'm not really hungry?" Virgil said, though it sounded more like a question.

"Well, we can't watch another move, or our eyes'll become squared" Patton huffed and crossed his arms, pouting. Everyone ignored Logan's protest abiut how that was a myth parents told little kids.  He flopped onto the couch again and whined,
"Looo, gimme something to do"

"Patton, you're a grown man" Logan reminded his husband. When the other just pouted, he sighed and turned to Virgil,
"Have you unpacked all your stuff already? Do you need any help with it?"

"I'm finished," Virgil answered, stiffling a laugh, "I don't have that much stuff"

"I'VE GOT AN IDEA" Patton exclaimed, startling two, "let's go shopping!"

"Shopping?" Logan questioned, "What, what gave you that idea?"

"Verge could use some stuff" Patton shrugged, "and we can get ice cream"

"I don't really need anything" Virgil protested, hugging one of his knees to his chest, "you really don't have to-"

"Too bad kiddo! We're going shopping" Patton interrupted the boy and ran out of the room, "I'll get the car ready!"

"You uh, you really dont, uh," Virgil turned to Logan and started to feel more awkward by the second, "I c-can just go by myself a day if I need s-something"

"Virgil, seeing as we are your parents now, we are the ones that take you shopping and all that" Logan said, holding iut his hand to help Virgil stand up, "besides, I don't think Patton is going to give you a choice"

Virgil sighed and accepted the hand. He zipped up his hoodie and stuffed his hands into the pockets. Logan went to grab probably his wallet and Virgil waited by the door.

"Are you ready to go?" Logan asked when he returned. When he got a nod he continued, "And, don't let Patton- Patton can get, uh. He gets excited about these things. Do your best to ignore the puns and jokes."

"I think I'll be able to handle it" The Emo boy did his best to hold back his smirk. He could see Patton driving Logan mad with puns and Dad jokes.

They stepped outisde and at least one of the grown ups remembered to lock the front door.

A car horn sounded and there came Patton drving an dark blue car, a window rolled down,
"Get in Los-.... People! We're going shopping"

"Just a few minutes in the car" Logan reminded himself while he sat down in the other front seat, while Virgil climbed into a back seat, "just a few minutes"

"You love me" Patton stuck his tongue out and patted Logan's leg, "now put on some music dearest, please"

Logan rolled his eyes and started to look through CD's, which Patton insisted on keeping in the car,

'Spongebob'
'Beyoncé is royalty'
'Those boring songs Logie likes'
'Fall out Boy'
'Songs that annoy Logie'
'Happy songs!!:)'

He turned his back to the child in the back seat,
"Virgil, what music do you listen to?"

"Uh" Virgil leaned forward to take a look at the CD's and smirked, "I would love to hear either Fall out boy, Béyonce is royality or songs that annoy l-"

"Patton, fall out boy or beyoncé?" Logan turned away from Virgil, who was stiffling giggles. Logan was a grown man and refused to listen to the songs that annoyed him.

Why did Patton even have those?

"Beyoncé!"

Seconds later, 'single ladies' was blasting throught the speakers.
