When they finally arrived at the mall(Patton may have taken a few wrong turns on purpose), both Logan and Virgil were rubbing their sore ears.

"Did you really have to sing along so loudly?" Logan asked, glaring at Patton.

"Yes" Patton smiled and placed a small kiss on Logan's nose, "But I'm sorry for hurting your ears"

"No, you're not"

Patton ignored Logan and turned to Virgil,
"Which store do you wanna go to first?"

"I, I don't really know the stores?" Virgil answered awkwardly, "I've been to Hot Topic before, or just, a store that has clothes"

"I'm pretty sure there's an Hot Topic" Patton mumbled, pretending to be lost in deep thoughts. He was probably thinking about ice cream.

"How about we walk around and enter a store when someine wishes to" Logan proposed, sighing in relief when he got two nods of agreement, "let's go then."

After less than five minutes, Patton had found the first store he wanted to enter,
"CUTE PUPPY SHIRT!"

As Patton started looking through the pink and yellow puppy shirts, Logan stepped in.

"Patton, remember what I told you about lady shirts?"  he asked and rolled his eyes when Patton shook his head, "they're different sizes remember? You can't get your normal size, I'll help"

While the two looked for the right shirt(Patton didnt want the yellow one.) Virgil noticed that he was smiling. Seriously, he was just watching two gay men buying a 'female' shirt because they didn't care abiut gender roles, and okay that might be the reason he was smiling.

He turned around and noticed the make up corner. Looking between the arguing gay men and the make up, he decided it was safe to go take a look. He searched for foundation with his skin tone and let out a sigh of relief that they actually had that.  Virgil was pale, like, really pale and almost out of foundation. When he also found a really dark, almost black, blue eyeshadow with gllitter, he made a mental note to come back here after he had found courage to tell people he wore make up. (so probably never) IF he never told anyone (he probably wouldnt and he knew it) it wouldnt matter, because there were no bruises to hide anymore, just his freckles.

Lost is make-up thoughts, Virgil didnt notice that Logan and Patton had chosen an shirt and were looking for him. Logan was the first to notice and turned to Patton,

"do you think he needs new make-up?"

"huh?" Patton looked up slightly confused, "Virge wears make up?"

"You didn't notice?" Logan raised his eyebrow, "really?"

"Well, nobody told me" Patton huffed and crossed his arms, "how was I supposed to know?"

"Remember when you looked at a picture of him you were low key freaking out, because he had freckles?" Logan helped his husband remember, "have you seen any freckles on his face the last two days?"

"I.....no" Patton realised and gasped, "he's hiding his freckles from me!"

"I did too, but that's not the- Pat, Patton no-Pat!" Logan tried and failed to stop the man, so he tried to keep up, "this isn't going to work, pat-pat, listen to me"

Patton ignored him walked over to Virgil in a fast pace and before logan couod stop him, threw his arms around the younger male,
"WHY DO YOU HIDE YOUR FRECKLESSS"
