|Third Person

A young boy smiled as he hear laughter around him while they sing him a haply birthday.

"Saeng-il chukhahamnida~"

They sung. Little Jimin is finally turning 13.

"Waah our Jiminie's getting older now~" Jin said.

"Yah, look at Kookie first- he's younger than me but he's getting taller and taller!"

"True!" Jungkook said as he laughed at his hyung's complain. "Me and Jungkook will be right back! We'll just buy ice cream"

"Strawberry?"

Jin chuckled, "It's for you to see."

.

Jimin sat down on the living room, bored. When are they gonna come back? It took so long for them to buy some.. He thought.

Jimin played with the remote- to his surprise, he accidentally pressed 'On' and the TV started playing.

He didn't really care about it. News is boring, nothing to be excited about. But this time, something caught his eye which made him watch it. "Breaking News! Lost body of Mrs and Mr Park found in a nearby lake of the City Hall!"

Poor couple. They even have the same initials as me! Jimin faked a laugh at the thought. He noticed he became nervouse as he watched and listened intently to the news report.

"Mrs Park Yeonhwa- the husband of Mr. Park, a governor; both found in the lake."

"They said that they've been missing for sometime- They will perform autopsy on the two."

Jimin slowly realized that it was their parents. Knowing this on the day his mother bore him, he sighed as a tear rolled down his cheek.

He bit his lip to hold his tears- Right on time, the doorbell rang.

"Hyungie strawberry icecream time~" Jungkook cooed excitedly, calling the birthday boy. Jungkook noticed Jin frozen in his spot, staring at the man that is letting out quiet sniffles and cries.

Noticing this later, Jungkook runs to his hyung immediately comforting him. Jin doing the same.

Jimin, barely having the voice to talk- "i-i've lost them hyung.. i lost them" Jin sighed heavily, tucking him into a hug as he says, "i'm sorry.."

Jimin, confused of what that means nonetheless hugs back.

Guilty, in the other hand of why he was so oblivious to the fact his mother's words would be the last. Despite being young, he wanted to end himself but he remembered what his mother said.

He hated his birthday ever since then, because it always reminds him of them. But in the end, it became the source of his strength and will on living.

.
