"Jimin?"

I stare at him as he stare at nothing.

"Jiminie?"

"Christian chimchim?" I wave my hands infront of him. God he sure is spacing out, huh?

Minutes passed and our mochi still hasn't come back to earth.

I snapped my fingers near his ear making him flinch. He's back. "Ah- sorry.." He apologized. I ruffled his hair- my hands going down to his back, patting him. "It's alright."

We sit down a bench near his parents' gravestone.

"So your parents are government workers, huh?"

"mm.. only my father" He replied. I noticed him staring at his father's tombstone, sighing deeply. "I never even got the chance to play with him" he said in a heartbreaking tone.

I listened intently to what he's saying. I don't have a complete family- who knows what he's been putting up through all these years.

"My mom was always there for me. Appa wasn't in the house that much and he was also busy in his work."

"It's sad how he can't make time, not only for us but also for him." He said.

He then looked at me and made eye contact, his lips parted as he voiced out what was on his mind. "So don't you dare do what my dad did. Don't overwork yourself- work can be done again but when it comes to your health thats something different. I don't wanna lose you too.." My heart softened at his sincerity and concern.

Besides Jin hyung and my father, no one told that to me before.

"My mom wasn't around at all." I said. He then looked at me with sad eyes filled with worry, listening carefully to the words i said.

"That's why I was so furious when I found out she lied"

He sighed deeply, and looked down at his feet once again. "That's alright, I know how you feel." He continued; "Though we don't have our parents anymore, or in your case you cant see them that much; we still have each other, don't we?"

I nodded, patting his head softly as the cold breeze blew. We were silent.

I'm not used to silence when I'm around Jimin; he was always a happy-go-lucky guy, and a talkative one as well. I'd love to converse with him once again, regaining back our friendship and talk about what happened when we both were away. Sometimes though, silence heals; sometimes, we just have to be silent and let time heal.

He put his head to my shoulder, his eyes slowly closed as he sighed deeply once again. "If you had one thing to change in the past, what would it be?"

"I'd apologize to you sooner. I regret not doing that, it felt like I lost family." He smiled. I missed that. He stood silent though, as we waited until the clock striked whatever time we had to go back.

Though it's about time to leave, we just treasured the moment being together. Both of us missing each other's presence, as we stood up and walked back to school.

The cold breeze accompanying us as we walked along paths filled with dead leaves while each other's presence made us feel at ease. Thanking that I had another chance to regain my friendship with him, hoping he feels the same as me.
