It was the seventh day. He wasn't up yet. Each hour seemed to be a decade. It took forever. I was getting impatient. At one point I collapsed with exhaustion.

Hunk came in with food and dropped the tray, seeing me limp on the floor, "Lance? Lance?!"

I sat up, cradling my head, "what?"

"Oh thank god." He sighed with relief, picking up the tray. I gave him no attention and turned my head back to the healing pod.

Keith was still on there. His face was at peace at least. If only he could see me now... Ha. I'm so pathetic. Keith's hair was matted to his head like he had been sweating lots. He was more pale than usual- like a ghost or a sheet of paper. Or salt as that matches his personality. The clothes he was wearing were like rags. Maybe like peasants from the 1880's.

Hunk placed my food next to me and I ate it slowly, keeping my eyes fixed on Keith.

"You should... Do something to get your mind off of him..." Hunk said.

I immediately snapped my head in his direction, "uh huh." Then I turned my head back to Keith.

Hunk sighed warily, "you..."

"I...?"

"Y-never mind. Just come down for dinner, ok?"

"Ok."

"... bye."

"Bye." My mind then went back to good times.

-Flashback-

"Hurry uppppppp!" My sister, Jamie shouted from below the stairs.

"I'm coming! These trousers are really tiGHT!" I yelled back, breathing in. Despite being the most skinniest person ever, the trousers I was trying to get into didn't fit. I heard Jamie giggle.

"Oh shut up!"
"I didn't say anything." Jamie teased. I could tell that she was smirking right now. I rushed down the stairs. She immediately stopped smirking and raised her dark eyebrows.

I was wearing a tuxedo, it was black with a red tie. She looked impressed.

Jamie herself was wearing a graceful black dress, with a little red belt. Her brown hair was done up in a bun. Her eyes gleamed with excitement.

"Uhh. What do you think?" I asked, obviously nervous.
"You look handsome, Mr. McClain."
"I can say the same to you. But that would be beautiful... Can a girl be handsome?"
"Oh shut up you nerd."
"I'm not a nerd!"
