Renesmee's P.o.v.
I'm forbidden to see Jake for a while. I'm not sure how long, but we'll work our way around it. I'm also grounded, for running away from dad.
So that's why I'm sitting in my room, on my bed when there's a knock at the door.
"Go away!" I shout, knowing there's no one I want to talk to right now other than Jake and it won't be him.
The door opens and it's Emmett.
"Hey, Ness."
I sit up. "What are you doing here?"
"Im trying to help you."
I look at him suspiciously.
"We're all going hunting tomorrow. I'm staying to look after you with Alice."
"And?" I ask confused.
"You want to see the mutt don't you?"
I smile, knowing he means Jake and pull him into a hug. His terminology doesn't bother me because he says it in a jokey way.
"Thank you!"
He grins.
"Anytime. One thing.. "
"What?"
"What did you really do to make Jacob so angry?"
"I told you."
"I may not be able to read minds but I can tell when you're lieing. "
"I'm not." I say louder.
"Ness, it's okay... I won't make you tell me, but, if you want to talk about stuff I'm here."
I nod and he gets up.
"Thank you "
He grins as he leaves and calls over his shoulder.
"Any time!"
