Chapter 10:

Over time everything seemed to increase in size. All the problems; including me. I'm not really healthy anymore. Everyone's worried about me.

Jaspers still gone and the baby still keeps growing. Carlisle examines me practically hourly. Edwards furious at Jake which I guess is a good thing, as it means he believes us.

I shut my eyes, my hands on my stomach as I hear another argument start in the hall.

"Do you know how old she is Jacob?" Edward shouts.

"This is her choice" Jacob snaps at him.

I bite my lip to hold back the tears. I know Jakes angry with me, but he just won't show it. He doesn't want to upset me. But I hate this too, him defending me when he wants the same thing as Edward and all this pretending and lieing.

Sometimes I want to come clean, but I know I'd regret it. So I stay quiet. I look up at the painting on the wall, trying to remove the sounds of the argument from my head. Vampire hearing really doesn't help.

"She's pregnant and Carlisle doesn't know what that baby will do to her! You saw what happened to Bella! How close we came to losing her!"

I frown, I hate that conversation. I can't help but feel guilty for my mother's almost death.

"Do you think I'm not worried? I am, more than anyone. I've tried to stop her!"

Its true, he has. I don't think anyone's on my side anymore. They all care too much about me. But it won't work, I won't let any of them near me. I guess I'm as stubborn as Bella, if not more so.

"You wouldn't have to if you hadn't done this!"

I hear Jacob growl and I frown.

"Jacob, baby. Come here, please."

I don't want them to fight. I don't want either of them to get hurt.

I hear his footsteps and then see his worried face. His lips turned down at the edges in a constant frown and dark rings around his eyes from lack of sleep.

"What's wrong?" He asks me quickly and I take his hand.

"Its okay. I'm fine, baby's fine too, I think." I squeeze his hand gently and he sits down next to me.

"You should sleep"

"You too." I try to smile at him. "You don't look so good either."

He doesn't smile, he just shakes his head.

"Please Renesmee, just rest. We'll talk about this in the morning."

Im not certain what "this" is, but I can guess.
