He nods, confirming my suspicions.
"Its all my fault." I sigh "I'm so stupid. I hurt him... It's all my fault!"
Jacob shakes his head. "He left suddenly, if it were your fault he would have left when you had the baby."
I shake my head. "I'm the reason he left. I hurt him. Last night..."
"What?" He asks curious.
"Last night, after you kicked him away I spoke to him."
"You didn't tell me?" He asks, I sense the anger in his tone.
"How could I? You'd be furious."
He sighs. "What did you say?"
"I told him nothing could ever happen between us."
He nods. "Good."
"Well now he's left! I was angry... Upset. Spiteful. I didn't mean to hurt him."
