Jaeden's POV All night, I was thinking about what Sophia had told me. Maybe I should tell Maddie. But that'll only make things worse. I had a hard time sleeping so a barely slept. Then a loud beeping noise snaps me out of my thoughts. It was Maddie's alarm. Of course, I turn it off and wake her up. "Hey, wake up." I say shaking her gently. "Wha-oh hey. Forgot that you were here." She giggles. "I'm so offended right now." I say grabbing her blanket and pulling it away from her. "HEY! Your gonna fix my bed after!" She raises her voice as she stands up and heads to her bathroom. I change and go downstairs. Like I always do, I check my messages. 4 texts from Sophia Sophia: yo, you awake? Sophia: hello, Jaeden Sophia: OMG hurry up and text me back! Sophia: I'm gonna give up texting you for a long time if you don't answer. Jaeden: I'm here! Jeez. Sophia: did you tell her? Jaeden: no. Sophia: I'm can't believe you right now. TELL HER OR ILL SUE! Jaeden: you can't sue me. Sophia: OH YOU BET YOUR BUTT Jaeden: fine, but can you have come over to help me. Sophia: you're THE Jaeden Lieberher. You can tell her yourself. Jaeden: ...but I'm just a smol bean. I can't do it myself. I'll mess things up! Sophia: send me the address. Be there in 10. After the awkward chat with Sophia, Maddie comes down and goes into the kitchen. "We're eating Pop Tarts." She says. "Ok." I say walking over to her. "I like how we're always alone in the house. Both of our parents leave really early in the morning." She says putting 2 Pop Tarts in the toaster. She pours 2 glasses of orange juice and grabs plates for the Pop Tarts. "Boom! Made Pop Tarts without setting my house on fire!" Maddie says relieved and proud. We both laugh and eat our food. Maddie's POV (finally) Jaeden and I finish eating and we head to my couch. "Is it gonna be a lazy day?" I ask. "Yeah if you want." Jaeden says. Ding Dong "I'll get it Jae." I say standing up. I open the door and I see Sophia. "Oh my gosh no way SOPHIAAA!!" I yell engulfing her with a hug. "Yep, it's me." She replies. "I won't be staying for long. Only until 5 or 6." "Okey dokey!" "Hey Jaeden, how are ya?" She asks Jaeden. "Good, you?" "Great." "Hey Maddie, can Jaeden and I have a moment alone please?" Sophia says sweetly. "Of course." Jaeden's POV "You are gonna tell her. I swear Jaeden, if you don't-" "Im gonna tell her! Jeez Sophia." I say harshly. "When I leave, you tell her ok?" "Yeah." "I AM BACK CHILDREN!" Maddie yells. She's adorable. "HELLO YOUNG ONE!" Sophia says. "Do you guys wanna go get some ice cream?" Maddie asks. "Yeah, let's goooo!" After ice cream "I'm full!" Maddie says. "Yeah, no kidding. You ate 2 ice cream cones." Sophia says. "Well, I gotta go. It was nice seeing you! Bye!" "Bye!" Maddie and I say together. There we were, sitting on that beautiful couch together and alone. "So...." She says. "Um, can. I tell you something?" I say nervously. "Go ahead." "Well, I like this girl and I don't think she likes me back." I say sadly. "Awh. She's missing out. Who is she anyway?" "It's you Maddie. I've never fallen in love with someone so quickly. You have to greatest personality." I says scooting closer to her. "You know Jae, I like you too. Ever since day one, my feelings have increased for you and only you." Maddie says resting her head on my shoulder. I feel her warmth. She looks up at me and I don't know why the heck I did this, but I kissed her. It was warm and passionate. I never got this feeling before. Maddie smiles at me. Earlier, she took a picture of me eating ice cream and I shall post it.
