Eight

Maddie's POV
"Yo Jaeden, wake up. It's 9:00 am." I say getting up.
"What time did we go to bed last night?" He asks fixing his messy hair.
"1:00am." I say blandly. I make my bed, brush my teeth, and change. Obviously I'm too lazy to shower now but I'll shower later.
"MADISON SARAH NEWTON GET DOWN HERE NOW!" My mother yells sounding happy.
"I didn't know your last name is Newton." Jaeden says.
"Well, now you know." I say running downstairs wondering what the heck my mom needs.
"Ok mom, what do you need?" I ask.
"Is Jaeden coming down too?" Angela asks biting her toast.
"I'll call him." I say. "JAEDEN, COME DOWN PLEASE!"
"COMING!" He yelled from the stairs.
"As you may or may not know, today is Angela's birthday!" My mom yells in excitement.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGELA!" We say as we hug her.
"Awww thank you so much guys!"
"So what are we doing for her birthday?" I ask.
"We're going to The Cheesecake Factory tonight." Angela replies.
"Yes! I love the pasta." Jaeden and I say together. We all laugh and relax until it's time to get ready. Jaeden and I go upstairs while our moms talk on the couch.
"So Madison wh-"
"I swear Jaeden, call me Madison again and you're dead." I say seriously.
"Ok....Madison." He smirks.
"THATS IT!" I yell walking over to my bed. I tackle Jaeden and make sure he doesn't call me Madison.
"YOU CALL ME MADDIE OK?" I say.
"Ok ok fine!"
Time skip to 5:00pm
Jaeden's POV
"GUYS START GETTING READY!" I hear my mom say. We say ok and get ready.
"How about this dress?" Maddie asks taking a simple black dress from her closet.
"Beautiful." I say. She goes into her bathroom while I change. I wear a button up blue shirt and some jeans. I fix my hair and put my shoes on. Maddie then finishes and comes out. She looks absolutely flawless in that dress.
"Hey, you look beautiful Maddie." I say walking over to her.
"Thanks Jae. You don't look too bad yourself."
I get a text. Sophia.....like always.
Sophia: hey Jaeden, tell your mom I said happy birthday.
Jaeden: ok I will.
Sophia: anyway, you told her right?
Jaeden: yeah I did.
Sophia: FINALLY! JAEDEN DIDNT CHICKEN OUT!
Jaeden: wow🙄
Sophia: how long are you staying at Maddie's?
Jaeden: until my mom has a steady job and finds a nice house. Read 5:42pm
"Let's go." Maddie says. "Wait." She fixes my collar and hair.
"There, perfect."
Another boring time skip.
"Thank you so much for the dinner!" Angela says thanking my mom.
"Ok you two, once we're home, you go to bed ok? It's 12:00am now."
"Ok." We say and we pull up to the driveway. Jaeden and I walk upstairs, change, and sit on the bed.
"Hey Maddie? Is it ok if I lay down with you?" I ask,
"Yeah...that's Fine." She says. It stays quiet for a while. I turn on my side so I'm facing her.
"Good night Maddie." I whisper and sleep.

A/N filler chapter! I'm going back to school so I won't be very active. This is the worst chapter but HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGELA!
