Two days had passed and Piper, Alex, and I were ready for our plan. The three of us had collected a large amount of items, which really surprised me. Who knew that you could find so many things in prison? Our stash included a knife, two cell phones, a screwdriver, some heroin, some weed, cigarettes, and a blade.

As we finished counting all of the contraband in front of us, Alex closed the now empty vent and smiled maliciously. Piper and I got up from our spots on the floor. It was getting late, which meant the guards would most likely do some random search soon. I hadn't known this before, but apparently they do it around the same time every two or three days. I hadn't really paid attention, but Piper had.

I focused on all of our items as I ran through the plan one last time in my head. I would have to take Stella into the bathroom and pretend to flirt with her. Then, at the last second, I would tell her off and leave. We'd both go back to our bunks, and by then, it would be time for the search.

"You ready?" Alex asked me, smoothing out her uniform a bit.

I nodded before walking out of laundry and back to the bunks. I couldn't believe I was actually doing this. Stella, the girl who fucked with Piper and I for so long, even though we both were in happy relationships, would finally be taken far away from us. I was more than ready.

I tried my best not to look too happy as I approached the suburbs. I didn't stop walking until I had reached Stella's bunk. She was laying on her bed, reading a book. At first, she didn't notice me, so I cleared my throat and hoped for the best.

"Hey, Stella... I need to talk to you. Come with me to the bathroom."

She stared at me for a moment and looked utterly confused. Shit, was this going to work? We locked eyes as she slowly put down her book. She hesitantly stood up and walked over to me, causing me to finally breathe. Neither of us said a word as she followed me to the bathroom.

I knew I would have to keep up a decent conversation so that my friends would have enough time. This was going to be so uncomfortable, but it would be worth it in the end. As we continued down the hallway, I kept reminding myself this. I didn't allow my repeating thoughts to stop until we reached our destination.

I stepped inside first, making sure it was clear. There were no people in any of the showers or the stalls, which was good. The last thing I wanted was for someone to overhear me flirting with this nasty girl.

Stella took a deep breath and pressed her lips together tightly. It was now or never, Davidson. I walked to the sinks and sat down, motioning for her to join me. When she sat down beside me, I knew it would be safe to start the plan.

"Listen, Stella. Remember when you tried kissing me a few days ago? I'm sorry for pushing you off of me. It's just the whole Nicky thing, you know? I'd be all over you if I didn't have prior commitments."

Stella smiled widely and I nearly gagged at my words. How much longer would I need to keep this up before I could completely shut her down?

"I guess I could honor your commitment to Nicky, even if she is gone, but it's nice to know that you have feelings for me. Have you ever thought about breaking things off with your girlfriend?"

I swallowed hard. Oh my god, this was so much harder than I would've expected. "N-no, I've never actually thought about that. I just figured I should confess my feelings for you and apologize for what I did to you."

"Well, I guess it was worth a shot, right?" Stella said, her eyes completely lit up. "But I'm still very glad you came to me. If you ever want to cheat a little bit, you know where my bunk is. Nicky would never find out, and it would all be harmless."
