*Bella's POV*
"There you are Bella, we've been waiting for you forever!" My best friend Evelyn yelled.
"We?" I inquired upon approaching her.
"Your boyfriend Bryce is here." She whispered in a taunting voice, pointing in his direction.
My cheeks colored red and I nudged her gently.
"Bryce is not my boyfriend." I clarified.
"I just have a small crush on him."
"Right, 'small'." Evelyn laughed.
"Go talk to him."
She shoved me in his direction before I could protest.
"Oh, hey Bella!" He smiled at me.
"H-hey Bryce..." I stuttered.
I hardly dared to stare into his breathtakingly beautiful green eyes as he began talking to me.
"So, how was the geometry homework last night?" He asked, smiling broadly at me.
He's so cute I could just melt under his gaze.
"It was, uh, rather easy." I said, trying to stay composed.
"Cool, it's usually a challenge for me." He replied.
Silence built up between us for a bit.
"So...do you want to, I don't know, hang out tomorrow?" He queried.
"We can get ice cream from the new parlor that opened last week."
I turned to Evelyn, who flashed me two big thumbs up.
"Yes!" I happily accepted his offer, nodding.
"Awesome! I'm looking forward to chilling with you Suroso." He smirked at me and strolled away.
I swear he winked at me too.
"Did he just-" Evelyn began to say.
"Ask me out? He totally did." I cheered.
"No, I thought I just saw him wink at you..." She murmured.
"Forget it. We've got to get you prepared for tomorrow's date with yours truly."
The school bell rang, and everyone began to herd into the building.
"We'll talk about it more at lunch." I suggested.
"Good idea." She agreed.
"I'll see you in first period then!"
We separated to get to our lockers, and my heart thumped heavily the whole time I unpacked my belongings.
This date may just be the best thing that's ever happened to me!
*Justin's POV*
"No you idiot, don't drop it! There are fragile things in there!" I shouted.
The doofus for a security guard that's holding my stuff is doing a less than sufficient job carrying my suitcase.
"To be fair Justin, those suitcases are heavy since you insisted on bringing two full sized mirrors. Maybe you could be a little nicer? It's just a suggestion." Scooter muttered to me.
"He's about to drop my bags!" I practically screamed, ignoring half of what Scooter said.
"You know what, I'll carry them."
Viciously snatching my bags from the guard, I held them myself while we traveled through the airport.
Having just arrived in New York, we were looking for the exit so we could be picked up by my limo.
"Here's the exit." Scooter directed us from the crowded building.
It is an absolute relief to be out of that place.
So far I had declined giving ten autographs, thirty photos, and fifteen hugs for and from fans.
Maybe it was a little harsh to say no to all of those people, but we were in a rush, so I hardly cared.
A sleek black limousine pulled up in front of us, and my security guard opened the door for me.
I shoved my luggage into his arms and climbed into the car without thanking him.
"Can we get a move on?" I inquired.
"I'm getting really bored of traveling."
"The limo just go here, be patient." Scooter spoke calmly.
I rolled my eyes and whipped out my phone.
I'll just take a few selfies for Instagram while I wait.
I quickly snapped three selfies then posted them on Instagram.
A smile crept onto my face when the likes, comments, and followers started to roll in.
I loved the glorification of being a model.
"Sometimes constant attention isn't so bad." I thought to myself as the vehicle started to move.
-
About two hours later, Scooter and I had settled into a hotel. We were now discussing where I would attend school.
"Starting tomorrow, you'll be going to Upman High School." Scooter explained.
"Sounds lame." I mumbled, throwing a stress ball into the air and catching it again.
"UHS is a pretty prestigious school, you should see how your first day goes before you judge it." He answered.
"Whatever." I shrugged, continuing to throw the ball.
I still didn't understand why we had to move all the way to New York.
So what if we had to spend a couple more dollars on travel expenses?
"You should probably get to bed sooner if you want to wake up early for tomorrow." He suggested.
"I'll be fine." I assured him.
"You're not nervous or anything?" He questioned.
"Nope." I murmured, popping the "p".
How nervous could I be when I've walked on catwalks in front of thousands of people before?
Practically the whole world knows my name.
A bunch of kids in a high school didn't phase me at all.
That's the end of Part 2 :)
