I pulled into the nearly full parking lot. My nerves hang off the edge.
You can do this, just breathe. I repeated this to myself over three times before stepping out into the dim light.
Taking a deep breath, I slung my bag over my shoulder and started for the enterance.
"Odette!"
I turned to see Caroline dash toward me with a huge grin on her face.
"Hey.", I lightly laughed as she squeezed me.
"You didn't tell me you were coming. Oh, how are you holding up?"
"Um...", not very well.
Just then Bonnie came to my rescue.
"Caroline!"
"What? I've missed you; sue me.", she threw her arms up.
"I missed you guys too.", I gave Bonnie a hug as well.
We walked through the chaotic hallway traffic.
"So anything happen while I was gone?"
"Nope nothing much. Bonnie's still a single pringle and I...", she trailed off.
"And what?", I asked.
"Hot new guy!", she exclaimed.
Bonnie and I chuckled at her sudden outbrust.
But as I looked up I found myself breathless.
His hair was a dark neat disaray, his eyes a deep forest of green. There was a certain rthym to the way he walked.
Any living soul would envy his graceful pace.
"Earth to Odette!", a hand flashed in front of my eyes.
"Matt!"
"Yes?"
I smiled and held out my arms.
"Where's my hug?"
He smirked as he wrapped his arms around me.
"We better get to class.", I pulled out of the hug.
He nodded in agreement.
We reached History with three mintues to spare.
I took a seat and dug out my notebook. Clicking the pen to life, I wrote the first words that came to my mind.
