Predestination

So a couple months ago I was at someone's house and the topic of predestination came up, and I had never really heard about this so naturally I talked with them about it and they told me that they believed that when God made specific people he just didn't give them a choice and they were going to hell. Because they were never going to accept Jesus no matter what.

But how could a loving God ever do that to anyone? It would not be fair at all if some people just didn't get a choice, because then what would be the point of this whole thing, because we worship a loving caring God. And a loving and caring God would never just make somebody go to hell without a choice.

For evidence of this just look at Romans 1, specifically verse 20 but you should definitely read it in context. And some people are going to argue that some people never hear about God, so what Then? What if they go their whole lives without hearing about God?

Well Luke 16:31 says “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”
Now sure this is a specific example of the prophets but we can infer that if they don't believe even the smallest sign, (the trees, nature, anything really, because we see God in all of creation) then they would not believe even if someone was raised from the dead. From the first part of that verse however we understand the everyone can know that God exists, and that there's proof all around us.

And so how then could anybody argue that some people are doomed to hell no matter what? Well they really can't.

Sorry this update was a day late I got confused and thought I was supposed to post it today instead of yesterday
