I scramble off of the roof and start in the direction I saw the object go. But, just as I was going through the market, I was halted by Gil. "Oh, hey! (Y/n)! I've been looking for you. Uma needs you back at the chip shop for something," he smiled goofily and nodded pointing in the direction of the establishment. "Oh, okay," I felt a bit dumbfounded as I stared blankly. "Uh, yeah, are you okay? You look a bit out of it," Gil rubbed his hand as he looked at me. I nod and wave him off as I start towards the restaurant. My investigation would have to be put to a halt for the time being. I don't need to keep Uma waiting. The last person that disobeyed her was thrown overboard that night. About ten minutes later I arrived and entered the main building. Uma was waiting with her usual annoyed expression. I stood across from her, "alright, I'm here." She smirked and then let her face return to its former state, "good. Listen, I want you and Harry to go round up the monthly dues. You can handle that for me, right?" I smile in her face and reply with high levels of sass, "of course I can, dear." I soon turn and leave, searching for Harry. I begin to wonder, why couldn't Gil have just told me? This wasn't anything unusual since me and Harry run this errand every month together. I soon shake it off as I feel the sharp point of Harry's hook slide over the back of my neck. He leaned in close and whispered as he started to walk around me, "I've been looking for you." I smirk, "I could say the same thing." He half smiled and nodded, "well then, let's get this show on the road." It took us a couple of hours before we came across our last target, Curl Up & Dye. I waited outside as Harry went in to snatch the cash. He was in and out quickly, smirking as I watched him tuck the cash into his coat pocket. I blow a strand of hair out of my face as I speak, "I think I'll be off, now that our stealing spree is over." As I turn to leave, Harry catches me by the back of my jacket's collar, "I don't think so." With a growl, I roll my eyes and turn back to face him, "and why not?" Harry smiles as he looks down at me, "because we have some news to deliver." Before I could respond, he continued. "It does seem that little Miss Dizzy has a visitor. Someone by the name of Mal," his arm fully draped around my shoulders, ensuring that I wasn't going anywhere. I close my eyes and remember all the news that sweeps through the television. Mal has it all, why would she want to return to the Isle? I guess the prissy pink princess life was too much for her. Oh well, it's not my problem. She left me, and so did the others. She promised they'd come back for me, but that never happened either. "Alright, then why are we still standing here? Uma, I expect, would love to hear this," Harry's expression was a bit surprised, obviously not expecting that answer. It almost instantly relaxes as if the expression was never on his face, "well, I would never have expected that answer from you." He emphasizes the word you as we began walking. Soon enough we'd reach he ship. And soon enough Uma will get her revenge on Mal. But... do I really want to go along with this plan? I can't be an ally of both sides. My heart aches to see Mal and speak to her, but another half of me burns with hatred.
