Niall POV:
"Who invited him?" I asked, trying to keep the venom out of my voice.
"Apparently Vanessa did." Ana replied
"I didn't know they knew each other." I said.
"Neither did I." Ana admitted.
We both glanced at Calum and Vanessa who were deep into a conversation.
"It's looks as if he likes her" Ana commented, not taking her eyes off them.
"What makes you say that? It doesn't look like it to me." I blurted out.
"Trust me Niall I know when my little brother is interested in someone." Ana replied.
I was feeling a little uneasy about the idea of Calum having a crush on Vanessa. It's not because I still have feelings for her, it's just that I don't want Vanessa breaking Calum's heart. Yeah, that's why.
"I have to go, I work early tomorrow" Ana said, turning to face once more.
"Ok see you babe." I replied
"Promise me you'll keep an eye on him" she whispered.
"Of course, love." I answered.
She slipped on her coat, and slung her purse over her shoulder. I kissed her goodbye and watched her leave. Once she was out of sight I turned my attention back towards Calum and Vanessa.
"They make a cute couple, don't they?" Alyssa asked appearing out of nowhere.
"I don't know who your talking about." I replied.
"Admit it, your jealous!" Alyssa said, emphasizing the word jealous.
"No, I'm not" I defended myself.
"Tell me Niall how does it feel to watch your ex flirt with other guys?" Alyssa asked, smirking.
"She isn't flirting with him, they're just friends, and anyways she deserves better than him" I sneered.
"Ah ha! You just ratted yourself out!" Alyssa shouted.
"What? No! What I meant to say was Calum can do better." I said, quickly.
"Liar liar pants on fire" Alyssa chanted pointing her finger at me.
"Shut up" I hissed, but she ignored me.
"What's going on here?" Louis asked appearing at Alyssa's side.
