Vanessa POV:
''So your telling me that you and Ashton are just friends?'' Alyssa asked emphasizing the word friends
I nodded.
Alyssa and I were sitting on the couch talking about how are prom was.I had just finished telling her everything that happened between Ashton and I.
''I thought for sure you two would be a couple after prom'' Alyssa replied sadly
I laughed.
''Well I'm sorry but your just going to have to accept that-'' I began but I was interrupted
''We're home I know you missed us'' Amanda yelled walking into the living room with Jake
''Why aren't you two ready?'' Jake asked
''Ready for what?'' I asked confused
''Jake is taking us all to some fancy restaurant,didn't you receive his text?'' Amanda replied
Alyssa and I shook our heads.
Jake face face palmed.
''I must have texted everyone else but them'' Jake said
''Why are we all going to dinner?Any special occasion?'' Alyssa asked
''Jake has been persuading me all day for us all to go out for dinner I don't know why but anyways I'm going to get ready'' Amanda replied and went upstairs to her room
''Can I invite Giselle?'' Alyssa asked
''Yeah'' Amanda and Jake replied at the same time
Alyssa quickly got out her phone to text Giselle.
We heard the bedroom shut.
''Can I trust you two with something?'' Jake whispered to us
Alyssa and I nodded.
''You got to promise me you won't tell Amanda'' Jake added
