Chapter 11.

4:25pm : At Home

"Mom!" I yelled as I put my bag down. School was the usual with nothing exciting apart from gossip.

"In the kitchen!" she yelled back. I made my way there only to smell a bunch of spices and cheese.

She was covered in flour and sauce. I gave her a questioning look but quickly shook it off as she's usually very quirky.

"Could I go to the beach with Calum?" I asked her, trying a bit of the sauce that was put at the side.

"Sure hun, but I need you back by 5."

I checked the time and looked at her with a sarcastic look.

"Mom, it's 4:32pm. How the heck do you expect me to be home by 5?" I rolled my eyes.

"Oh alright, you have until 6 but be home at 6 sharp because we're having guests over." I kissed her cheek and ran up to my room to wear my beach clothes. I quickly tied my hair in a messy bun and texted Calum saying I would be at the beach in 15 minutes.

Since the beach is far, and my Mom was busy making God knows what, I called an Über.

"Driver will arrive in 4 minutes at the designated location."

I sighed in relief and got an apple to at least somewhat fill my empty stomach.

I see my phone screen light up, indicating that my Über driver has arrived.

I get in the cab and listen to some music on my way there.

5pm at the beach.

I

walk towards the big umbrella on the beach, which actually isn't that crowded. I wear my sunglasses and scroll through my phone, waiting for Calum to come.

I get a little impatient when it has been 5 minutes and he still hamster arrived so I get up to take a dip in the calm waters of the sea.

Just as I am about to go in, I feel the same pair of arms I love hugging, wrap around my torso, as a head with brown hair with just one blonde streak rests on my shoulder.

He kisses down my shoulder but stops when I run out of his arms and into the ocean.

I laugh and turn around, only to see him pout.

"Scaarrrrrrr," he whines.

"Shut up Calvin. Come here in the water! It's cooler than you are." I say smirking.

He just rolls his eyes and shakes his head.

"I love my goofy girlfriend,"

I just hum in response, satisfied that we're officially a thing.

We play in the calming water for some time, splashing each other in the face, when I realise that the time is already 5:40pm.

"Calummm. I have to go. Some guests are coming over and my Mom told me to be home by 6" I say.

He just gives me puppy dog eyes and pouts, so I can resist but to kiss him. It's just a quick peck but when I pull away, he's smiling.

I grab by stuff and ask him if he can drop me off to my house. He obliges.

18 minutes later

We reach my house and he leans over to give me a peck on the cheek, causing me to smile. I say goodnight to him and get out of the car, completely in my own wonderland.

I'm covered in sand and I smell like the sea but I don't care and just shake all the sand off.

I walk into the house and yell " Mum, I'm home!"

"Oh that's wonderful dear, go get changed." I smile and go to my room, changing into one of my dresses with a collar on it.

I don't have time to wash my hair, so I just brush it out and tie it into a high ponytail.

I walk down the stairs and say " Oh my God Mom, I loved the way Calu-" but am cut off when my eyes meet the sky blue ones that I've been used to.

DUN DUN DUNNNNNN. I freaking love this chapter altho it was a little boring but the next chapter will be full of drama and awkward moment!
