A Different Life

Welcome to 1327

When Dom and Letty reached the house they saw Roman and Tej on ladders re painting the outside.

"What took you guys so long?" Roman asked when he saw them exiting the car.

"Don't try to avoid doing work." Tej said. "And Dom, your sister is a pain in my ass."

"Not just yours, all of us." Roman replied to Tej.

They soon started to bicker and Dom and Letty just walked pass them into the house.

"I swear, they are gonna be the next Rico and Santos."

"Indeed." Dom said. "Letty welcome to 1327, the place where I grew up."

Letty walked around and looked at pictures seeing Dom and Mia in their teenage years along with that guy that died in Brazil.

"I'm gonna go upstairs and unpack." Dom said to Letty.

"Ok." She said then turning her attention back to the pictures.

After looking at the pictures she went to sit down on the couch reading a magazine and was interrupted when a certain blonde came up to her.

"Hey Ortiz, you know you can help right?"

"Fuck off Brian."

He chuckled at the Latina's rudeness and sat beside her. "So how are you?"

"Am good, where's Mia?"

"In the backyard with Jack."

"Thanks." She said getting up and ready to leave the living room.

"So that's it?" Brian asked opening up his arms wide. "No hug from your favorite blonde?"

Letty chuckled when she saw that he put on his puppy dog face so she hugged him.

"Satisfied?" She asked.

"Yup."

Letty left Brian in the living room and went to the backyard and saw Mia walking around with Jack in her arms.

"Hey Mi."

"Hey, you're okay."

"Yeah I'm perfect."

Letty walked towards Mia and took Jack from her arms then start cooing at the little baby.

"You know you would be a great mom."

"I don't think I will have kids."

"Jack is gonna want a god brother or god sister."

"Sorry Mi."

"You're so stubborn."

"Just like you, let's just hope he won't grow up like his mama."

"Where's Dom?"

"Unpacking." She replied. "Where is Elena?" 

"Upstairs."

Mia noticed the look on Letty's face when she said that.

"And Han?" Letty asked Mia again.

"I sent him out to buy some groceries for tomorrow."

"What are we having tomorrow."

"A barbecue."

"Ok."

Dom came out with Elena by his side looking happy and that did hurt Letty.

'You knew that he will always choose her over you.' A voice said in the back of her head.

Letty did agree with this, Dom will always choose Elena, she would always come first in his life. She was so stupid to have sex with and knowing that in the end they will never be together.

She could hear some of the stuff that Dom and Elena was talking about and she even strained her ears to her all of it.

A tug on her hair brought her out of her thoughts and she looked down and saw Jack with holding her hair with his tiny hand with a smile.

She smiled back at the baby and started cooing at him again.

Unbeknownst to Letty, Dom had been watching her for the past few minutes.

He knew he should be listening to Elena but he couldn't take his eyes off the Latina with the baby in her hands.

"Dom?"

"Yeah."

"Are you listening."

"No sorry, I got distracted."

"I was asking, if like how I'm back now does that mean we are still a couple."

Elena never liked Dom, she knew that chemistry existed between Dom and Letty but she wanted to see the girl suffer.

She even saw when Dom looked up to look at Letty and she was looking back at him, she obviously heard the question.

What surprised Elena the most is when Letty shook her head at Dom telling him to go for it.

"Yeah it does."

Letty walked away from them and went near Mia.

She loved Dom and if he didn't love her the way she does, she won't force him, let him be happy with the one he truly loves.
