Dan slept soundly, his chest gently rising and falling. He lets out small, quiet breaths as he sleeps. He was in such a calm and relaxed state, that he didn't even notice the empty space beside him. He didn't even take notice of the delicious aroma in the air.

Dan was really knocked out at this point. He usually woke up early, and would bounce with energy, but today was just not the day. He knew Louise would be over, but even that didn't wake him up, or made him jump out of bed to run up to the blonde lady.

Louise was downstairs, in the kitchen. She's busily making breakfast for her and the youngster. She had checked up on him a few minutes ago, surprised to find him in still sleeping. She was expecting him to jump out at her and greet her with a hug, but she just found a sleeping brunette.

After ten more minutes, Dan stirred in his sleep. He turned to his side and let out a yawn. He rubbed his eyes and let out a gentle breath. "Mmm..." He stretched out his arms and legs, hearing a pleasant crack, letting out a satisfied hum. He took notice of the aroma in the air. "Louise..." He whispered, recognizing what her cooking smelled like.

Dan rolled himself off bed, and slipped on his bunny slippers. He yawned as he made his way to the door, grabbing the door knob, and twisting it open. "How long have I been knocked out?" he whispered to himself, pushing the door open. He looked around before stepping down the stairs. He had a long nap, but he still felt tired and drained.

Dan made sure that his steps down the stairs are audible, so he wouldn't startle Louise. He wasn't in a little mood today. "Hey Louise" he spoke up as he stepped around the corner. He watched the blonde lady turn her head over, and he waved.

"Sorry I overslept...I would've helped you out" Dan scratched the back of his neck, seeing the table set up. "Pregnant or not I would've helped you out either way" he leaned against the table. Louise chuckled "oh no it's okay I've got it". She pretended to show off her imaginary muscles "I'm a strong lady".

Dan laughed and faked a gasp. "Oh my god it's the powerful and mighty Louise!". He smiled and watched the blonde lady pose. "I am here to save the day! don't worry citizens" Louise took off the apron and swung it to her back, like a cape. "Louise to the rescue!" She slightly bent down and took three careful steps, not able to run with a baby in her stomach.

Dan laughed and shook his head "alright careful before you hurt baby-". "Baby Darcy" Louise interrupted and stood back up, taking off the apron. "I'm thinking of that name" she added. "That's a pretty name" Dan said with a smile curved onto his lips. "Can't wait to meet them" he breathed out. "But I know it's going to be a long trip to meet them" he stood up from leaning against the table.

"I'm getting x-rays in around two or three weeks" Louise said as she started filling up the plates with food. "If you want to come and see-". "I would love to!" Dan beamed with excitement, almost jumping on his two feet. He didn't like kids so much, but as long as Darcy didn't take away Phil's attention from him, it was fine.

"Alright settle down sweetheart" Louise's chuckling, sent vibrations to Dan's ears. "You don't want to slip on your slippers and fall on your face". "Oh and by the way those are cute" she added, pointing her finger towards Dan's bunny slippers. "O-oh!" Dan looked down at his slippers, and back up at Louise, who smiled at him.

"Thank you"

"That was delicious" Dan said as he wiped his mouth with a napkin. "Thank you" he said. "For like coming over and making me company" he added. "I really hate being alone in a big house" he shuddered. Louise opened her mouth to speak when there was a knock at the door. She watches as Dan stands up from his seat, and runs to the door.
