Cara.

Morning classes rolled by quickly, and now we were at our usual table eating lunch. Just how I expected, Hayes was in his table ignoring me like nothing happened between us during the weekend.

Surprisingly, Trevor was actually siting with us. I guess he really changed, and is willing to not cheat on Emily. I mean, he was sitting with us and not with the football team.

"So, Cara," Trevor suddenly spoke; making my head rise up, "how was the weekend with Hayes?"

"He was still an asshole," I lied, "Boys will be boys."

"I am a changed man," he protested as he pointed at me.

"Who said you were even a man?" Emily blurted out of the sudden.

The table erupted into a fit of laughter, and giggles. Trevor grabbed Emily's chin, pulling his lips onto his as they kissed. Everyone went from laughing to gagging, and small pieces of food were being thrown to them.

"You guys are so not invited to our wedding!" Trevor shouted, and threw his arm around Emily.

"Who said we wanted to be?" René, a girl from the dance team, questioned.

They both shot us a glare, but then started laughing again. Everyone was probably looking at us right now. I turned around to be proven correctly, as in fact everyone was looking at us.

The other popular table was staring at us. All of them looked jealous of how much we all liked each other, but Hayes looked sad. Why would he be sad?

The bell rung and we all left to out designated classes. I had Drama with Ms. Hurt next; it had to be my favorite class in my entire schedule. The only thing that ruined it was Hayes.

When I got there, Hayes was already sitting in the back, that's where I usually sat. I casually went to the back, like always, and sat next to Hayes.

We waited in silence, not sharing a word between the two of us. Ms. Hurt walked in on her usual black heels, and her brown leather purse. She threw that on her desk, and turned to us.

"Kids," she began, "this year the Drama class is going to be doing a Musical!"

The entire class cheered, including me. Hayes sat silent again, what is wrong with him today?

"Settle down! And the musical is going to be......... Wicked!" She shouted and clapped.

I've always wanted to do that musical since I first heard the song Popular. I've also fantasied of portraying Galinda Upland!

"Auditions will be this Friday at four-thirty right after school," Ms. Hurt announced as the class quieted down.

She turned to the board and wrote in big letters. Improve! I guess we were doing improve today. Ms. Hurt was always a big fan of improve.

"Hayes Grier, and Cara Dallas, you two are up!" She shouted from her desk.

We both stood up, and walked to the small stage in the middle of the room. Two chairs were placed in the middle and I knew we were playing bus stop.

Bus stop basically consisted of two people pretending to be in a bus stop, and the last one to arrive had to create the entire story; until the other persons 'bus' came.

Like I expected, she said we were doing bus stop, and I had to go first. I sat down on my chair, and waited for Hayes to come up with some sort of idea for this. I felt someone breathing on my neck, and I quickly turned around to face Hayes.

"Excuse me," I said in an annoyed voice, "what do you think you are doing?"

"You looked so peaceful," He began saying with a weird voice, "I didn't want to bother you."

"Well, you did so what do you want?" I inquired, raising an eyebrow.

"I want to know something. Where is the money?" He asked.

"What money?" I asked back, and moved further from him.

"Look I set up the bombs and everything, now tell me where is it?"

"Sir, I told you I don't know where the money is!" I protested and moved my chair.

"I guess it came to this, I'm calling Phil," he announced.

"Who is Phil? And what is happenin-"

Hayes put his finger on my mouth, and then took out his phone. "Hush up, I'm calling him."

I removed his finger from my mouth, and played along staying quiet. He pretended to dial a number, and then lifted the phone to his ear.

"Yes, Phil. I'm hear with Monique, and she doesn't know where the money is." He mumbled, and I looked at him shocked.

"My name is not Monique," I murmured, and crossed my arms over my chest.

"It's not?" He asked and I shook my head, "never mind Phil."

He 'hung up' and slid the phone back to his pocket. He rubbed his palms together as he tried to come up with something to say. He ran his hand through his hair, then slammed both hands on his thighs.

"So you are not Monique?" I shook my head, "Then there are no bombs anywhere, and if you say something; I'll make sure you no longer exist."

"My bus is here!" I said and rushed out.

The class started to cheer and clapped, and so did Ms. Hurt. She called me up again, and I went back. She hugged both of us, and then said,

"That is real talent people!"

She turned to Hayes and whisper, loud enough for me to hear, "You are auditioning for Fiyero, right?"

"Yes, madam!"

"Good," She said.

Hayes is going to be Fiyero, and I might be Galinda. That means I'll be obssesing over him. Calling all fangirls here to teach me how to obssess over that thing.
