a few days went by without anything strange happening; but when seunghoon finished his work late this friday night, he leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes for a while.

right then his phone rang loudly; without checking the caller's id he picked up. "what do you want?" he groaned.

"don't be like that, it's me, minho! do you want to, like hang out?" asked his apparently best friend; or the person that at least came close to being seunhoon's best friend.

"if it includes food, i'm in." he stated, obviously annoyed. "don't tell me you've been working that long again... whatever, let's meet in the restaurant." minho didn't need to explain further, since seunghoon knew which certain restaurant he meant.

half an hour later he entered the place, not too fast although he was starving as hell. minho was already there, waiting for him. they ordered their dishes and kept a casual conversation, that all best friends have, when they haven't seen each other for a while.

suddenly minho froze right in the mid of his sentence and stared at something behind seunghoon's back. "ex lover?" asked seunghoon and continued to chew on his noodles. actually he didn't care about his friend's love life, so he didn't even bother to turn around.

minho furrowed his brows in anger "yes, i'd better be getting out of here before she gets annoying again." with that he got up from is seat and made his way out of the restaurant.

"do whatever you want, i won't waste this food." mumbled the left-behind man and munched down said food.

when he finished and had payed the bill for both meals, which immediatly raised his rudeness level towards the waiter, he heard some shouting in front of the restaurant. at first he didn't mind it, but when he came closer, he noticed something strange.

"you're such a damn slut!" a man yelled at a younger girl, who appeared somehow familar to seunghoon. the man continued to yell humilitating things and raised his hand to slap the girl.

usually he wouldn't even give them a glanze, but since he somehow felt familar to the girl, he grabbed the man's right wrist. "didn't you learn that you don't slap a woman?" he growled through his gritted teeth; the whole situation annoyed him.

the other didn't reply, but punched his fist hand in seunghoon's stomach, who let go his wrist immediatly and choked, only to receive another punch on the nose. the girl screamed, as seunghoon pushed his knee between the other men's leg and gave him two punches on each of his cheeks.

with a groan he let go and turned to leave, while grabbing the girl's hand and pulling her with him. they only stopped running when they reached the next metro station; seunghoon shooting her a glare and suddenly noticing why she seemed familiar.

"you better have a good explanation for that." he sounded dead serious, but yeji wasn't scared. "i don't." she said bluntly. "it's not like you had to help me."

"are you drunk again?"

"no, but i was on my way to get drunk before you appeared."

"you're annoying."

"why do i feel like everyone's annoying you."

the guy kicked the groud and remained silent; yeji knew she had hit the right spot. "just don't get beaten by someone again."

"maybe" slowly she checked the time on her phone's display. "i'll go then, thank you."

he raised his gaze in surprise. "did you really just say thank you."

"not everyone's as rude as you, but i'll take it back then." she groaned and turned to leave; meanwhile the brown haired man walked down the street in the opposite direction.
