for some unknown reason they felt comfortable with each other, even though they kept denying it and acted rude towards each other. they rather would've died than admit it, but because of this they started hanging out more often.

one day as they agreed on meeting at their usual favourite restaurant, seunghoon arrived a little too late and found yeji already at one of the tables.
even though she had her face nicely covered in make up, he could clearly see her still red and puffy eyes.

at first he decided to ignore it, but it kept bothering him during their conversation. this must've been the reason, why she called me out of sudden.

but this wasn't the way he used to act, lee seunghoon never cared, if anyone cried in front of him, so why would he even care about this exact girl?

"why were you crying earlier?"

"you really have no manners, you shouldn't ask a woman a question like that so bluntly." she laughed, but the smile didn't reach her eyes. "it's okay, though..."

seunghoon raised an eyebrow at her statement, but waited for her reply.

"i just met someone, who once was very precious to me." the blonde attempted to swallow her tears. "i just still miss him a lot."

all the memories tore her apart again and again, although she knew, that said person probably didn't even remember her name.

the other kept quiet for a while. "i don't think, that such things as love or feelings even exist."

yeji froze for a second and blinked her eyes in confusion. "th-that's new to me."

"yeah... whatever."

"but isn't there a reason for that?"

"i really don't want to talk about that."

so she let him be, because she knew how much the truth could hurt.
