. It had been 6 weeks since you and Ashton had broken up. He broke up with you in the first week of the holidays, A week before Christmas. It sucked so much but it was for the best . He had finally finished uni and now he's going to be a teacher. You knew Ashton will always love you but the rules with relationships and students are just so strict. You loved him so much and it didn't help that you were moving schools. Well technically you were moving countries. You were moving to America. You didn't want to but your dad had got a job there so you moved to LA. You missed Australia so much even though it had only been a week of living in the new environment. LA isn't like Australia well America isn't like Australia. You always loved going for bush walks, getting your hands grubby or even wanting to go to the beach but now your here in LA where most of it's just city. Where every where you turn there's just big tall buildings. You have seen buildings like this when you were in the city in Australia but you haven't seen as many as these. Australia is home to you and nothing can change that .

You put you phone down and cry yourself to sleep missing Ashton but also your nerves were getting to you considering you were going to a new school . You were so scared you had heard things about American schools about how they judge so much and all that.
