“Why? Are you okay Madi? Are you sick?” Liam sits up a little in his chair. I pull Madi closer to me and set her on my lap.

“What’s going on?” Louis holds Eleanor closer to him. It’s quiet for a moment before Madi looks up at me.

“Go ahead and say it…” I whisper and she nods. I was slightly nervous to let them know. Of course they’ll know that we messed up. This baby wasn’t supposed to happen.

“Well, Harry and I are having a baby…” She smiles and I put my hand above her belly button. I could feel just a bear bump where my baby was. It’s silent and the boys just stare at us. They begin to share shocked glances amongst each other before Liam speaks.

“A baby eh?” He lets out a little breath and looks at Louis.

“I love babies!” Louis is the first one to sound at least a little bit excited. “You’ll make great parents. We should be getting back to the hotel Harry.” Louis said and I stand up.

“C’mon love,” I help her stand up. She doesn’t really need it though; I just don’t want her to strain herself. She’s carrying my perfect little baby and I want it to grow nice and strong. I wrap my arms around her back and the boys come up and congratulate her and me. Liam wraps her in a little hug that I feel is a little too tight. “Careful Liam.” I pull her into me and rub her tummy. Her bump was hidden by her oversized tour hoodie. It’s not like it would be that noticeable to begin with. She was only around two months along.

“Har, it’s okay. I’ll be fine. I’m tougher than I look.” She looks up at me and I shake my head slowly. “What? You don’t think I can handle it?” She asks.

“I just don’t want you to get hurt precious.” She pulls my face down to me.

“I’ll take these.” She says as Niall sets two guitar cases in front of her.

“You most certainly will not.” I take them away from her and follow the rest of the boys out to the vans. We had to pack all the things we had brought back and ride to the hotel.  Our tour bus was already at the hotel. I guess we’re getting a night away from the bus again tonight. It was kind of nice to be able to go to a hotel and sleep in a regular bed. “Louis, carry her. I’ll take the stuff to the van.” I pick up the guitar cases as he picks up Madi.

“Really, you don’t have to do this. It’s okay. I can walk.” She rolls her eyes. I can tell she likes being treated like royalty around here.

“Bask in this. Because it’s never going to happen again. Once you get fat….I’m never picking you up.” He says with attitude.

Once we get all the things packed into the van, I pull Madi onto my lap and the boys pile in around us. There is barely any room in this van. I honestly don’t know why they didn’t just take us to the hotel room on our bus. It would have been a bit nicer really. We pull into the hotel where fans flooded the doors. They weren’t permitted to be in the building. Paul and other security men held back fans as we got out. I stepped out before Madi and help her step down. Maybe I was being a little overbearing but I couldn’t help it. I pull her into my grip and we walk past the fans with smiles. I pull out my room key just as Madi does. “You can stay in my room tonight…” She looks up and stops at a door not too far from mine. I can’t believe I didn’t notice it last night. We would have had to bumped into each other in the halls. Our room is only two doors away. “Do you think that would work?”

“It will be perfect; Eleanor can switch with me and be with Lou.”  I step through her door and sit on the bed. “Are you tired love? It’s late?” I kiss her and she shakes her head slightly. “You go get changed and I’ll meet you right back here.” She digs around in her suitcase and finds an old tank top. She pulls her hoodie off and I can catch myself staring at her tummy. The bump was now exposed through a tight camisole. She comes back up to me, now just in her pajamas and pulls up her shirt. “She’ll be so beautiful…” I say with my hand on her stomach.  It was motionless although something we created in there was alive. Something Madi and I put together in there came alive.

“He’ll be perfect.” She shakes her head. “It’s going to be a boy. A little Darby Styles.” She holds my hand in hers.

“Darby eh? Why Darby?” I smile down at her. “It’s cute.” I liked it. I could very well name my son that. The only problem was I was having a daughter.

“It’s Irish. I’m Irish Har.” She says in her accent. I don’t really notice it anymore. It’s just her voice. I could pick it out from a crowd. I could tell it was Irish. It matched Niall’s very well. “You like it?” She asks and I nod. “What names do you like babe?” She looks away from me.

“Well since we’re having a little girl… I like Emma and Isabella…” I look down at her and she smiles. “You like those?” She nods and rubs her tummy more.

“If only we would have a girl…” She grins.

“Do you know something I don’t? You can’t know this soon, can you?” I ask her.

“No, I just have this gut feeling. I have a little Styles boy in me.” She sits up a little more.

“Let’s make a bet. Have some fun with this baby thing.” I say.

“On?”  She asks and crosses her legs.

“If we have a girl, we have a little fun….” I wink at her.

“And if I’m right, and it’s a boy, we go see any chick flick I want to see.” I laugh and nod. She shakes my hand. “These aren’t really horrible consequences are they? You love chick flicks.”

“I’ll have you making love faces.” I wink again and pull myself under the covers.

“I don’t think so. Make sure you bring your tissues to the movie theater. I want to see a sad one.” She smiles and does the same. “We’ll find out soon enough.” She kisses me and turns away. “Goodnight Harry.”
