Surprise

I sat on the plane heading back to Ireland. Madi has been staying with Maura and Bobby there for now. Just in case anything happens.  Madi's appointment was around when I land and I could finally see her. I can't wait to see her and her big belly. All I've been getting is picture updates. She is growing fast. It didn't really seem like it at first. If I compare the pictures from months ago to now, it happened quickly. Little did she know, I wasn't going to go back on tour after the ultrasound. I'm staying with her. The tour will be over in a few weeks anyway. I don't want to risk going back and then her having the baby without me. That would break both of us. I had a half hour left on this plane and I've been itching to get off. I need to stretch my legs more. Hug Madison. See my daughter. I pull out my phone and look at the group text from the boys. I was planning on surprising her. I haven't really chosen how yet. She knows that I'm on my way though.

Liam- I think you should just go to see her. Don't try to play games with her.

Niall- Don't be too mean. I can have Greg beat ya for meh.

Louis- I say just do it. Say your flights delayed or something. Then show up  and be like 'Eh! Baby!'

I actually think that idea isn't that awful. I mean it would be kind of cruel. Lying and all, but at least I'll be there. I wouldn't stand her up.

The seat belt light comes on overhead and I buckle up. Finally, I've been sitting on this plane for hours. I was tired of sitting. It's been a long ride and now I was off to see Madi. I got excited butterflies in my stomach as we landed. I couldn't wait. I had a smile plastered off my face as I got down the steps of the plane. I was finally on land again, only minutes away from Madi. First I had to set up my surprise. I pulled out my phone and hit Madi's name. I sit up against the wall and put on my best sad voice. I already feel kind of guilty. "Hey Harbear!" She says, all smiles.

"Hey babe...." I say slowly. "I'm so sorry... My planes delayed.  I won't make it." I can hear her voice drop. "I'm really sorry. We can video chat at the appointment."

"You promised..." She says and I can tell she's crying. I knew it. This was a bad idea. I shouldn't have made her cry.

"I know....My plane didn't promise. I'm sorry...I love you."

"I love you too...you said you'd be here!" She hangs up on me and I sigh. This was wrong. Stupid dumbass Harry.  I find my car that was picking me up and get in with my bags.

"Okay, we're going to the hospital. I don't think it's too far from here." I hand the driver the map. "It has my fiancés doctor in it." I say. "She's about to have a baby soon." I say with a big smile on my face. I couldn't stop talking about her. "My baby! I think it's going to be a girl. Madi thinks it going to be a boy. We're going to go find out today." I tell the driver basically our whole story and what I was doing. He just smiles and politely listens. He pulls into the parking lot and I see Greg's car there. He was taking Eleanor and Madi to the appointment. "Thank you so much!"

"Good luck!" He says and I grab my bags. I pay him and walk into the hospital.

I followed all the signs to I got to a waiting room. It literally was full of other pregnant women of course. I took a seat and got out my phone. I requested a video call and she answered. "Hey baby... how's it going?"

"Good...." She says and shivers. I let out a quick chuckle. She lets me look at the screen. I see my little child there on the sepia screen. It was amazing. The technology was great. It was so flawless. This 4-D picture of my baby. She had her hands clenched in little tiny fists and my eyes welled with tears. "I think she's telling me soon."

"Are you ready Ms. McKay?" The lady asks.

"Just a second." I say and stand.
