~Silly Boy~ (Ken x Fem!Reader (Part 1))

It was you and Ken's four year anniversary and he decided to take you to a little carnival near your house. He said it seemed like fun when he saw a little flyer about it. You went along with his idea and thought to go with him on this little carnival date for your one year. You got up early and got ready for when he was going to be picking you up at around 9 in the morning to go out for a quick bite of breakfast. After that, you went shopping for bug spray and other things, he apparently planned more than you had expected. After all the morning running around, you guys finally reached the carnival. He paid the fee for when you got in, but he didn't mind.

"This is so exciting!" he said and looked around at everything.

"I know, I don't know what I'm the most excited FOR," you responded,  smiling like a little kid as you saw and smelled so much all at once.

There were so many rides and places for you to buy things, as well as games you two could play. There was a light smell of popcorn and cotton candy in the air. You wandered around for a while, hugging his arm the whole time. You pointed out everything you saw that you wanted to check out. One of the things you were the most excited for, a game with a big stuffed unicorn as a prize.

"I promise you, I will do my best to win you that unicorn. I mean it!" he said confidently. You smiled at laughed at his silliness.

"Alright then, let's hope you can do it then," you said with an attitude as if you weren't fully believing that he could do it. He didn't quite catch on and he went right for the stand.

"Hello sir, would you like to try the game?" the man who owned the stand asked Ken.

"Of course, I plan on winning that there unicorn for my girlfriend."

"Alright, that'll be $2 a game," the man said and Ken turned to you.

"$2, not too bad," he smiled and pulled out his wallet, handing the man the money needed to play and started. 

It was the game where you have to shoot water into the clown's mouth until the balloon on the top of its head popped. You tried the game before in the past and, well, let's just say you walked away down $20  and without the prize you wanted. Now was your chance to see if your boyfriend had it I him to win the "impossible game" as you have called it.

He waited for the cue to started shooting, and lined up the water gun with his target carefully. You watched as a look of concentration came over him. He was given the word to start and fired. The balloon raised higher and higher as he got more and more water in the clown's mouth. As the balloon was just about to pop, the time ran out. Ken sighed and gave him another $2 to play again, and then again after that, and after that. Finally on his seventh time trying he finally gave up.

"I'm gonna end up broke if I try any more," he said looking at the clown that he had been trying so hard to win against. Finally the wheels I his head started turning, and he got an idea.

"Y/N, you really want that unicorn?" he asked you, and you nodded with a smile, "here's what we do..." he began to whisper his evil plan into your ear and a smile appeared on your face. You nodded, ready to try it. He gave the man $4 for another try, this time, you were helping. You two grabbed your guns and aimed at the same clown. The man who run the stand smiled and told you to start. After a minute or so, the balloon finally burst. The second it did, you turned and looked at Ken.

"We did it!!!" you both put down your guns and hugged each other tightly, Ken even picked you up off the ground and spun you a bit. After he put you down, you told the man you wanted the big stuffed unicorn. He gladly got it down for you and you hugged it tightly the second he handed it to you.

After you spent a little more time at the carnival, going on rides and whatnot, you started getting a little tired. Ken turned to you and asked you something.

"Do you think you can stay up a little longer? I have something big planned," he said with a slightly excited look. You laughed a little and nodded.

"Alright, I'll try... but only because you're my silly boy," you said holding your unicorn in one hand and cotton candy in the other. You headed to his car and he had gotten there a little sooner than you, putting something in his pocket from the glove compartment. You didn't notice and got in the car.

"I hope you like star gazing," he said smiling as he got in the driver's seat, you smiled and saw something making a slight tent from his pocket.

"What's that?" you asked.

"You'll find out later," he said as he turn the small velvet box in his pocket make it a little less noticeable. He was hoping you didn't see what he had until he was done on one knee in front of you.
