~I'll Wait For You~ (JaeminxFem!Reader)

It's been about 6 months since you and Jaemin got together and you've obviously heard about his injury and absence from NCT Dream. In the beginning, you freaked out worrying about him, and ever since then you've been keeping in contact with him by messaging him and calling him. You only got to visit him here and there to avoid attention from media outlets. It's been about 3 weeks since you last got to see him, and you finally get a chance to see him again. He was at the SM building here and there, and you headed over to go see him, keeping a low profile to avoid drawing attention to yourself. 

Once you got to him, he instantly took you into his arms and held you like he hadn't seen you in years. You laid your head against him, hearing his heart nearly beating out of his chest. You smiled knowing that his heart beat so loudly for you, and yours for him. 

"I missed you," he said, and looked at you, you smiled back at him. 

"I missed you too,"  you smiled and kissed his cheek. He gave you a kiss on the forehead. You two have yet to share a kiss with each other, so this was your way of doing things. "So, will I be able to see you in those bright shining lights any time soon?"

"I'm not sure yet, I'm hoping so," he said and leaned his  head on yours.

"Well you take all the time you need to to get better," you smiled and tried looking up at him. He smiled and looked down at you and let you get a glimpse of his gentle grin. 

"Thanks, darling," he said, making you smile wider and blush, hiding your face in his chest. 

"No problem, at least I still get to hear you sing whenever we're together, or even over the phone sometimes," he chuckled a little and he started blushing a little this time.

"I don't mind if you don't have a comeback soon, as long as you recover well and you know that you can do this... you know why?" you asked and looked him in the eyes.

"Why's that?" he asked.

"Because, I promise that no matter how long it takes... I'll wait for you," you said and looked him in the eyes. You must have both felt like it was the right time, but you both leaned in gently connected your lips together. Pulling away a few second later. A silly smile painted on both of your faces, knowing that even if you had to wait to see him on stage again, he was always going to be at your side.
