~Fantasy~ (Z.Tao x Fem!Reader)

"Come on, pleeease!" you asked as you held onto Zitao's arm. He let out a sigh and a slight smile looking at you.

"You're lucky I love you, (Y/N)," he said and he took you to his garage, "pick a car and let's go for a drive." You smiled and looked around.

"This one!!," you said and pointed to his sea blue one. He smiled and nodded.

"Alright then hop in," he said and you ran over to the car while he grabbed the keys and got keys the driver's side, starting up. He looked at you and smiled as you looked out the window at all the sights going by.

"Wanna know what we should do after this? Go to a drive-in movie," you turned to looked at him and smiled as you asked him if you could, "can we, Taozie? Pleeeease?" He chuckled a little and nodded. You smiled and leaned up to give him a kiss on the cheek. He blushed lightly and you couldn't help but smile, thinking how cute he was.

After going out for the day, getting dinner and getting some snacks for the movie, you started heading over to the drive-in. Pretty soon you set up some folding chairs and sat right by the car. You sat next to him, holding his hand as you watched the movie. He looked over at you every once in a while. Ironically enough it was his movie, The Edge of Innocence, that you were watching. You looked at him whenever you saw him getting close with his co-star.

"Looks like you were really into your character," you said sarcastically, looking at him.

"Hey, I mean everything I was saying to her about loving her and feelings never change should be all for you," Tao said laughing a little awkwardly, managing to get you to smile. Eventually you hugged his arm and he moved it so that he could hold you closer, with a little adjustment of the chairs that is. After he managed to hold you right, he smiled down at you as your eyes were fixated on the screen. He fed you some gummy bears and you gave him a few in return. He looked back up at the screen for a few minutes and looked back only to realize that you had fallen asleep on his chest.

After the movie ended, he nudged you lightly to wake you up and you looked up to see him giving you a gentle smile.

"Hi," you said to him and he replied with a gentle "hi" back.

"We have to start packing up, you fell asleep," he said and you looked around to see other people leaving. You got up and almost fell back down with how fast you stood up. Tao caught you and helped to steady you, "are you alright?" he asked you and you nodded, letting him know that you were alright and that you just stood up too quickly. He chuckled a little and helped you pack up.

After packing everything up and getting in the car, you looked over at Tao and smiled at him, thanking him for everything he does for you.

"You know what, I just feel lucky enough to have you in my life," he said making you blush a little bit, "I love you, (Y/N)," he said, now you were really blushing. He had never told you 'I love you' first. Knowing that when he said it this time, he actually meant it made your heart soar.

"I love you too, Taozie," you smiled and nearly fell asleep in the car. When you got back, he helped you get up to his room, making sure that you didn't fall on the way there, you tend to go without sleep a lot. You both got changed into your pajamas and laid down to go to sleep.

"Good night, Taozie," you said.

"Good night, (Y/N)," he said and leaned down giving you a quick kiss, and a few minutes later you were out cold.

The next morning you woke up and closed your eyes again, think that it was all just a dream. You turned over and looked in front of you to see Tao sleeping soundly and smiled a little to yourself before you snuggled up to him, waiting for him to wake up.

Looks like it wasn't just a fantasy after all.
