Miscommunication

Ariana's POV:

Jack drags me into the living room where we find the rest of the boys. "Hey Ariana" they all shout whilst not taking their eyes off the screen. "I'm playing the winner" I declare. All the boys scoff but I'll show them. Corbyn looses    so I'm against Daniel. At one point we're on the same score but by the end I'm the winner!!! I jump off the sofa and do a victory dance.
"You just got beat by a girl bro" Jonah announces.
"She was just lucky" Daniel responds. This makes Jack laugh. Just as we are deciding who's playing against who next Zach walks into the room. "Ariana can I speak to you?"
"Yeah sure" I say.
"Privately?" He asks with his brown puppy dog eyes that I can't resist.
"Sure" I say.
We go into his room and he sits down on his bed beckoning me to do the same. I sit down next to him and I know what he's going to say. As much as I don't want it to be like this it has to so I speak up before he says anything because hearing it from him could break my heart. "Yes I know what happened was a mistake and we should just stick to being friends" I say twiddling with my fingers before looking up to face Zach.
"Oh yeah sure. That's just what I was going to say" he says not making eye contact.
"Great then..." I say not sure what to do.
"Yeah well that's got a lot of feelings cleaned up" he says and frustratedly walks out the room. What's the matter with him? Did I say something wrong? He agreed with me after all. I'm sitting there alone with my thoughts when Jack walks in. He can instantly tell something's wrong and instead of questioning me about it he just hugs me. I feel his warmth and it comforts me and I end up resting in his arms and that's the last thing I remember.

Zach's POV:

I was going to ask Ariana to be my girlfriend and  when she said that she just wanted to be friends it broke my heart. My eyes filled up with tears and I couldn't move like I was paralysed. I agreed with what she said to try and make it easier but easier for who because now I'm left broken hearted. Frustration builds in side me and I say "Yeah well that's got a lot of feelings cleaned up" and storm out of my room, downstairs, and out the front door.

Ariana's POV:
I wake up to find I'm not in Zach's room anymore. I look around confused but then Jack walks in and sits on the bed. "You fell asleep so I brought you into my room" he says. I nod to show I understand.
"I watched that video of you singing at school. You're amazing!" He proclaims.
"Thanks" I say looking up to him. I feel protected with Jack. Just his presence makes me feel safe but suddenly I remember about the conversation I had with Zach and a look of panic is painted onto my face. Jack realises and  I lower my head looking to the floor. He lifts my chin up so we're making eye contact and then... he kisses me!!!
I break away almost instantly feeling like what I'm doing is wrong. "I'm sorry I have to go now" I say grabbing my phone and running out of the house as fast as possible. I don't stop running until I reach my own house. I get in and head straight to my room. I fall to sleep crying.

I awake in a pool of tears. I flip my pillow over and wipe my sore eyes. Suddenly i start to feel sick and I rush to my bathroom just getting there on time. "Well you can't go to school today then" my mom says from behind me.
"I'll inform the school but I'm still going to have to go into work so you will be on your own".
"I'll be fine" I quickly say before being vomiting again.
"See you later then. If you need me ring me" she says walking out of my room and out of the house. I manage to get myself back to bed and I  go on my phone. I go onto snapchat and post on my story that I won't be going to school because I'm sick. Then I text Lily
Me- Sorry lil but I won't be coming to school today as I'm sick Xx
Lily- Don't worry about it. I'll come to see you after school Xx
I start to smile as I love how quickly me and Lily have bonded. We're almost inseparable.
Then I have a notification. It's off Jack.
Jack- I'll be over in 5 minutes Xx
Me-No I don't want you getting sick because then you'll get your fans sick
Jack- I'm coming over and that's final
I'm too sick to argue. Within 2 minutes Jacks here with flowers and a 'get well soon' card. I smile at his generosity before thanking him. We watch Netflix for hours before I end up falling asleep.

Jacks POV:
She looks so peaceful sleeping so I don't wake her. I turn of her laptop and cover her up with blankets. I turn to walk out when she mumbles "please stay Jack" and I can't say no to her so I get back into the position I was in and stroke her hair out of her face. She's so beautiful even when she's sick. I would love to make her mine someday.
