Lily

Ariana's POV:
I hear people talking around me, I see a bright light above me but I can't move. My body feels numb and I start to freak out when I realise I have no control over my limbs. I close my eyes hoping that when they reopen it would all be a nightmare. However it wasn't.
"Calm down, I'm here"
I hear a soothing voice and instantly open my eyes. Standing there beside me is Zach.
"What happened?" I ask confused trying not to show that I'm terrified.
"You was in a car crash"
I begin to remember the incident when...
"Where's Lily??!!!"
Zach looks at me with tears in his eyes. I already know the answer. I turn my head so Zach can't see my ugly face and cry into the pillow.
I hear the doctor say he's got to leave the room and I end up crying myself to sleep.

I'm awaken by the doctor talking to my parents.
"Your daughter is very lucky under the circumstances"
"How is she lucky??!! Just look at her"
"Don't forget her friend lost her life whereas Ariana can recover from this"
"That's the problem nothings certain".
As my mom says this my heart feels like it's about to break but I keep quiet so I can listen to the rest of their conversation.
"We need to get her feeling again so she will have to stay in the hospital for a while"
"Well how long?"
"It depends on how fast Arianas body recovers. We can't give you a definite answer"
I hear my mom sobbing when I have to interfere.
"It will be alright mom".
My mom looks at me and gives me a hopeful smile.
"Oh Ariana why couldn't you be more careful.."
"I don't think she needs the lecture right now" my stepdad says putting a hand on my moms shoulder. Then the nurse comes in saying "There's some boys waiting to see you"
I nod to show I approve of them coming in.
"We'll be back later" my mom says before kissing my forehead then leaving the room with my stepdad. As they walk out the 5 boys I have become to love walk in. Even Jacks turned up.
"Only you Ariana" Jonah says trying to make a joke of things and for a second I do have a slight smirk on my face.
"Oh sis I knew you was wild but" Corbyn adds.
I look at Zach who's sitting on the chair beside me. "You alright?" I ask concerned.
"Yeah I just hate to see you like this"
"Yeah well I won't be in this hell hole for long it stinks of... of... HOSPITAL"
This makes them all laugh even Jack who's standing behind the others.
"I forgive you Jack". He smiles and says "you really shouldn't but thank you".
"No ones telling me anything around here. How long have I been asleep?"
"You was in a coma for a month" Daniel says
"When did Lily... pass?"
"She had issues with her heart and ended up passing in her sleep the night you were admitted. She was awake when she arrived here. She told us to to tell you that you was the bestest friend anyone could wish for" Zach says
Tears start forming in my eyes. I could say the same thing about her. We had only known each other for a short period of time but it felt like we'd know each other our whole lives. I don't know how I'm going to live without her.
The boys talk about tour to distract me but then my parents return and they decide to leave. "We'll visit tomorrow" Zach says with a wink.
"We brought you your laptop"
"I can't move how do you expect me to use it?" I say annoyed.
"We just thought you could Skype Chloe on there. You haven't spoken to her in weeks and when she found out about the accident she was worried about you"
"Sure" I say knowing Chloe didn't care before the accident so why show concern now. Our friendship died when I left. She didn't contact me. Even when I attempted to she wouldn't answer my texts. Lily was a true friend.
