Carlos came into our dorm with a dog and was on his computer, Mal was going through spells in her book. Evie was making a dress and I was playing with my necklace.
"I thought you were scared of dogs?" I asked.
"Dude's different," Carlos argued.
"Whatever you say." I chuckled.
"Yo-ho-ho!" Jay came in a showed off his Turney jersey.
We all smiled at him impressed.
"Looks like your cousin's son is on the team.' Jay told me as he sat on my bed.
"Simba had a son?" I asked disgustedly.
"Simon," Jay told me.
"Simon? What a dorky name?" I scoffed.
Mal chuckled.
"Totally." Evie agreed.
Carlos rolled his eyes.
"I don't know. He's kinda cool," Jay told me.
"What did you just say?" I glared and growled at him.
Jay gulped.
"I-I said he's a fool." Jay corrected.
"Yeah, that's right. That's what you said." I nodded.
"Did your plan work with Jane? Are you going over to see the wand?" Jay asked.
"Do you think that I would be going through every single spell in this book. If I hadn't completely struck out?" Mal was pissed.
"Oh, someone's in a bad mood," Carlos mumbled.
"My mom's counting on me! I can't let her down!" Mal flicked his forehead.
"We can do this... If we stick together." Jay gained our attention.
"And we won't go back until we do. Because we're rotten-" Mal said one half of our catchphrase.
"-to the core." The rest of us nodded.
"Oh, yeah. I found out that Fairy Godmother blesses Ben with the wand at Coronation and we all get to go. I have nothing to wear, of course." Evie said that as if it was nothing.
We all looked at her as if she was telling she wanted to be a good person.
"What?" Evie asked cluelessly.
There was a knocked on the door as we were still in shock.
"Hold that thought," I told her and went to open the door.
I opened it and saw Princey. He opened his mouth to say something...
"Oh, it's just you Princey." I rolled my eyes and slammed the door in his face.
"You were saying?" I turned back to Evie.
"Scarlett!" Evie scolded.
What did I do?... I thought.
"What?" I asked cluelessly.
Mal got up and opened the door for Princey again.
"Hey, Mal. I didn't see you guys today. I was just wondering if you had any questions or anything-that-you needed-" He said awkwardly.
"Not that I know of," Mal said looking at us.
We all shook our heads.
"Okay. All right. Well, uh, If you need anything, just, uh-" Princey began to leave.
But then Mal remembered...
"Oh, wait!" Mal stopped him.
He happily stopped.
"Um, is it true that we all get to go to your Coronation?" Mal asked.
"Yeah, the whole school goes." Princey smiled.
"Wow. That is beyond exciting. Do you think that It's a possibility that the five of us could stand in the front row next to The Fairy Godmother, just so we could soak up all that goodness?" Mal asked.
We all smiled hopefully.
Princey didn't know what to say.
" I wish you could. Upfront, It's just me, my folks, and my girlfriend." Princey told her.
"And your girlfriend?" Mal asked suspiciously.
"Yeah. I'm sorry." Princey apologized.
"Uh, what about the front row. Right behind you and your family?" I asked, thinking about the next best thing.
"Oh that's reserved for the royal families and their dates," Princey explained.
"All the royal families?" I asked suspiciously.
"Yeah, I'm sorry again." Princey apologized.
Look likes that fish will be useful after all... I thought.
"Okay. Thanks, bye." Mal began closing the door.
"Oh, but, no, there's plenty of-" Princey began but Mal slammed the door in his face.
"I think It's time that Bennyboo got himself a new girlfriend. And I need a love spell." Mal smirked.
Carlos threw her the book and Mal giggled and began looking through he spellbook.
"Why were you asking about the front row?" Carlos asked curiously.
"I was thinking about the next best thing. And I think I can be there. In the front row." I smirked.
"Listening." Mal closed her spellbook to listen to me.
"How?" Evie asked confused.
"Princey won't be the only one under a love spell," I smirked.
"What are you talking about?" Jay asked confused.
"I met this guy, Ethan. He's Arial and Prince Eric's son. He's one of the royal families. Mal we need a backup plan. In case your plan doesn't work. I'll be right there behind you." I smirked.
"Never underestimate the power of a manipulative lioness. S, you're a genius." Mal praised me.
"Your mom's not the only one counting on you. M." I told her.
