~~Roman~~

We sat seated around the table in Thomas' mind as we waited for Patton to finish cooking dinner, which he'd kindly offered to do.

"Logan? May I borrow a book from you?" Logan looked at me with utter shock.

"Apologies? Roman, you know all my bo-"

"Books are non-fiction" I finished for him. "I know, thats why I asked." My gaze drifted to Virgil who happened to be staring at me in disbelief too.

"Princey? Are you feeling okay?" The pale boy asked sarcastically, a smirk on his face.

"I really am good thank you. So Logan, how about it. May I borrow a book?" I looked at him expectantly.

"Yes..." He said dragging out the word, an unsure expression spread across his face. "Why, might I ask?" He added after a few seconds of silence.

"Oh well..." They looked at me eagerly, Patton was too focused on the food to be bothered as to what we were talking about. A bright grin spread across my face. "Because it started a conversation and all attention was on me." My smug look grew, replacing the grin.

Anxiety rolled his eyes with a huge sigh, as he went back to looking through his phone. Beggining to type something. Logan stared at me. He blinked twice. Shook his head and went back to reading his book.

I just laughed at myself amused by my own randomness. "Dinners ready Kiddo's!" Both Logan and I looked to Patton as he walked over two plates of pasta in his hands. He placed one in front of Anxiety and one in front of Logan.

"Anxiety!" Patton said shocked, causing Virgil to look up from his phone. "No phones at the table, learn your manners." Anxiety rolled his eyes once more before placing his phone back in his pocket. A smirk tugging at his lips.

My phone vibrated alerting me that I had a notification.

Virgil: Sup Princey :3

"Roman you too!" I jumped almost dropping my phone, Anxiety laughed, before staring at me smugly, as he put another fork full of pasta in his mouth.

"Sorry Patton." I threw him an evil look but he just smiled. I decided to ignore the vibrations coming from my phone and began to eat.

"What was that all about?" I asked Anxiety after dinner. He looked at me smugly.

"I was bored and you was attention seeking, so I got Patton's attention for you."

"I swear..." I tackled him, causing him to fall backwards onto the plain, brown couch. I laughed at his sudden shock.

I pinned him down, he looked at me annoyed and I laughed. "Haha! Victorious!" I cheered, loosening my  grip on him, almost immediately he jumped up and tackled me.

We fell off the sofa. "Dude!" I exclaimed not expecting any of that to happen. He chuckled and got off of me. "Sometimes the villain does win I guess." I laughed to myself.

He went quiet, the somewhat happy expression dissapeared off his face like he didn't know the meaning of the word 'joy'. Turning away from me, he softly whispered something.

"I'm not always... The bad guy." As I approached he stepped backwards, keeping his eyes firmly on the ground.

I reached out to place my hand on his shoulder. "Anxiety..." He pushed it away.

"I'm not always the bad guy. I'm not always the bad guy. I'm not always the bad guy." The words hung in the air. I felt bad but angry, I didnt know why.

"Yes you are! You do nothing but cause Thomas problems! Even when you're not there!" What the hell was I doin!? Of course he was annoying and at the most of times he was negative which angered me! But- ugh! I wasn't acting appropriately.

He looked at me. Hurt welded into his eyes. "Its not my fault your dreams and fantasies are delusional!" He stormed off, I couldn't see but I heard his door slam.

I turned round, to follow down the same hallway to my room but before I started walking, I saw Patton. He stared at the ground disappointed. Taking a deep breath he looked up at me.

"What has he ever done to you?" I walked past him, not saying a word.

"Hey Roman?"

I turned around, he was still looking where I had previously been stood.

"What is it?" I answered.

"Do you like Anxiety?"

I furrowed my brow. "Why do you ask?"

"I dont know, it just seems you too never get along." He answered turning to face me.

I remebered many arguments me and Anxiety had in and out of videos, the many times I've said I dont like him. Realizing he's never said he didnt like me.

"Well... I wouldn't say never..." Flashbacks of happy memories played in my head. Times where we agreed, liked an "nickname" the other tried to give as an insult. "When we held hands, how soft his touch was. Or when we watched Disney movies together and when he looked after me. Allowing me to stay in his bed when I was sick.

"No you're right, I don't like him." I smiled at these memories.

"I love him." My cheeks tinted red at the sudden realization of my feelings towards him.

Patton smiled. "I'm glad... BECAUSE MY SHIP OH MY LIFE AHHH SO CUTE!!!"

"Patton! Shut up!" I took his hand and dragged him into my room almost walking into my bookcase filled with fairytales. Covering my face with embarrassment I asked him. "Do you think he likes me back?" I pondered at the thought.

The shorter male stared up at me grinning. "That you'll have to discover on you own, Kiddo." He smiled more, if possible, and exited my room.

I had to talk to anxiety.
