"Has anyone told you about what's going on?" Athena asks after realising that she fell asleep.

"No" I say curtly. It's been 7 hours ever since I brought Alex to the hospital and they haven't told us anything. Even Xavior is not getting any updates. Alex's mom is now here which make things even more harder. I realise that I have Alex's phone. Freddie gave it to me after he brought us to the hospital. I answer Greyson's call after two rings.

"What do you want?" I ask irritated.

"Why do you have Alex's phone? Ashton where is Alex?" He asks seriously.

"I can't talk" I say curtly and hangup.

After two more hours of waiting a doctor finally comes to give us information on Alex's condition.

"She lost a lot of blood causing her blood not reach her brain. We managed to close the Aorta but she is comatose and is still in very critical condition."

"What are the chances of her getting out of this coma alive?" Xavior asks anxiously.

"Unfortunately they are very slim, she lost a lot of blood" he says slowly.

"Can we go see her?" I ask flatly.

"Yes, you can go see her but only two people allowed to go in at once" he says looking at us. Me in particular. I am a bloodied mess. Xavior and Nicole go to see her first and after eons they finally come back. Athena goes to see her and after another eternity she comes back and I can finally see my princess.

I go into her room and find her peacefully sleeping and looking beautiful as always. Her black hair is sitting wildly around her face making her look extra pale.

"Alex, I don't know if you can hear me but if you can. I am really sorry about what happened. Everything that has happened in the past week. Alex I need you. I need you to wake up. I can't lose you now after losing our child. It's too early just please keep fighting baby please" I say running my hand through my hair. She starts violently shaking and the heart monitor starts beeping fast. I anxiously call a doctor and she comes in with two other nurses and I am once again taken out of the room. I go to the waiting room and Xavior advices me to go home. After debating with myself I finally decide to go home.

I finally get home after the 20 minute drive and head to the bathroom and take a shower. When I am done I slip on a pair of jeans and a black tshirt. I go downstairs and take out some food Joanne prepared from the fridge and heat them. While I am eating I hear a knock on the door. I go and answer it and find Greyson on the other side of the door.

"What are you doing here?" I ask irritated.

"Where is Alex?" He asks going past me.

"What do you want with Alex?"

"What did you do to her?" he asks grabbing my shirt.

"Greyson watch yourself" I hiss.

"Are you going to tell me where Alex is?" He asks angrily.

"She is at the hospital" I say flatly.

"What? What happened to her? Is she okay?" He asks letting go of  me.

"She was shot, she is in a coma" I say blankly.

"What? Tell me you had nothing to do with her shooting" He says running a hand through his hair.

"She was at the wrong place at the wrong time" I say recalling what happened earlier this morning. Greyson lands a punch squarely on my face.

"I guess I deserved that" I say stepping back.

"You deserve more than that!" He says angrily. I guess I do. The love of my life is lying in hospital in a coma because of me.  The most painful thing about this is that she might not even make it to tomorrow. Greyson proceeds to storm out of the house. I get a call from Rita but I ignore it. I guess she doesn't get the message because she keeps calling for the next eight minutes. I suddenly hear a loud knock on the door and I find Rita on the other side.

"I thought you said we were going to take Daniel to the zoo today. But I guess you chose that slut over your own son" she says angrily.

"Rita not now" I say angrily.

"When do you prefer to have this conversation? I can't stand by and watch you neglect our son to go spend time with a cheap gold digging whore! Ashton we are your family and she can't give you what we have."

"Don't you dare talk like that about Alex you hear me don't you dare!" I say pinning her to the wall.

"But it's the truth, so what you don't want me to tell you the truth about your precious Alex? You know that she is sleeping with Freddie one of your cronies?" She asks smirking.

"What?" I ask surprised.

"I didn't want to be the one telling you this. But it's true your little precious Alex was cheating on you" she says flatly.

"How did you know?" I ask seriously.

"I got Freddie to approach her and she took the bait" she says surely.

"You did what?" I ask angrily.

"I am sorry I just wanted you to see that she doesn't love you and that she was just with you for the money. I was doing this for us" she says seriously.

"Alexendra almost got raped because of you! I swear if you weren't the mother of my child I was going to kill you" I say strangling her.

"I am sorry" she says shaking.

"Is that all you want to tell me? Because if you are not telling me anything, I will find out and you are going to regret it" I say coldly.

"Okay I was lying. I am the one that set the whole thing up. You were supposed to find them in the parking lot together. I knew she wasn't going to fall for Freddie so I got him t-"

"That's it I don't want to hear anything else just leave" I say angrily. If she stays here I am going to do something I am going to regret.
