It happens to everyone, right? You never intended to fall in love with your best friend. It just happened. You felt that you could tell him anything. So you did. You told him that you were in love with two other people. But you weren't. You were just trying to get over the fact that you had lost your chance to ask him out over a year ago.

When you first met Leo Valdez it wasn't one of those bullshit, love at first sight, moments. It was one of those, who the fuck is this loser who thinks that he is the coolest person in the world. But, you did not go unnoticed by him. So, the first few months you absolutely hated this boy while he was, whats the word? Unsure about you. Lets just say that after a while he started to like you. You didn't like him back, obviously. To you he was just a scrawny little brown heady boy who happened to like some of the same things as you.

One of the most funny things that ever happened to was because of him. You were in sword lessons. There was a substitute so she was calling role. "Y/N l/N." She called. Just as you opened your mouth to say 'here' you heard a voice from the other side of the room say," ABSENT".

Instantly, you glanced to see that the voice came from none other than Leo Valdez. That wasn't even the most embarrassing part of the story. Then the sub says," Oooooo, looks like some one has got a crush!" Your and Leo's jaws both dropped while the rest of the demigods in the room started laughing hysterically. Soon you started laughing but a soon as you looked at Leo, you saw that he wasn't laughing at all. You didn't know that day but Leo actually like you then.

Now, fast forward another year. You became relatively closer to Leo, now happy to call him your best friend. Now, Leo liking you was a thing of the past. You and Leo often talked about how his past feelings as a joke. "Dude, I cannot believe you actually liked me?" You said, swinging your sword at the training dummy. "Me too." Leo mumbled, laying down on the bench beside you. "Oi! What is that supposed to mean?!" You yelled at him. Leo fell off the bench from the volume of your voice. "I'm kidding! I'm kidding!" Leo pleaded when he saw you walking towards him with your sword."

"Speaking of liking people," Leo stood up, "Is there anyone that you've got your eye on, Y/N?" Leo asks you.

At this point you has figured out that you had fallen in love with Leo. So this question was not something that you wanted to answer. "I mean, I do kinda like these three boys." You said quietly. Leo raised an eyebrow. "Spill.' He said. "I guess that James is kinda cute." You smiled. You weren't lying. You did like James. "James Carter?" Leo asked. You nodded. "Who else?" He asked. "Brandon Jones." Once again, you did like him. But you liked Leo more.

Liking Brandon and James was kinda just a small crush. You knew that you were way out of their league. Liking them was just something to distract you from being completely in love with Leo. "Wait, whose the third?"

"That's for me to know and for you not to know." You smiled while booping his nose. "I have to go! See you later!" You called running. Teasing Leo was on of your favorite things to do.

You were talking to your sister, Sadie, when she brought it up for the first time. "Don't you think its funny Y/N, that Leo liked you for a while, and now you like him." She said. You started to laugh then you thought about it more. "It's actually completely depressing, Sadie! Why would you say that." You threw a pillow at her. Of course you were kidding. You both laughed.

But in reality, it was kinda sad. Months had passed and Leo still hadn't guess who the third person was. It was quite funny, him trying to guess himself. One day, you were sitting next to Leo by the lake. He was still trying to guess. "Y/N, come on! There are literally hundreds of people that go to this camp! At least give me a hint!" Leo whined. You thought for a second. "Hmmmm. No" You giggled as Leo groaned. "Come on Y/n." You smiled. "Fine. Its someone in our friend group." You said. That narrows it down quite a bit. Your friend group consisted of Percy, Annabeth, Piper, Jason, Frank, Hazel, Connor, Emma,, Nico, Will, and of course, you and Leo.
