Chapter 9: Betrayed part 1

(Libby's P.O.V)
(3 months after prom)
I- I ca-can't be-believe h-he d-d-did th-this t-to m-m-me. I sobbed. I remember what just happened earlier as I replayed the events in my mind.
(Early yesterday morning)
I was at my locker grabbing my books when someone came up behind me and put their hands over my eyes.
Guess who? He said. Uh.... I give up. I said. Your funny. He said. It's Dmitri, he added taking his hands off my eyes and giving me a quick peck on the cheek. Ugh. PDA. I heard Leo groan. Oh, your just jealous. I said. Hey? Dmitri asked me. yeah? I replied. Tonights our 3 month anniversary right? He asked. Right! I replied. well to celebrate I was thinking you could come to my house to meet my dad. I looked at him shocked. Y- your dad? I questioned. Yeah. He replied. I told him about all our dates and he wants to meet you. He added.
Uh, okay. I said. i'll meet your dad. Great he said. i'll pick you up at 5. All right. I replied. we then walked to class in silence.
(Time skip)
I was walking home. I was very stressed. What if his dad decides I'm not the ideal girl for him? What if I accidentally offend him and he hates me forever? What if he doesn't approve of our relationship? As I was thinking I walked right into Bree and we both fell.
Oh! Bree!! I exclaimed. i'm so sorry, I didn't see you there.
It's okay. Bree Replied. So, how was your day? she asked me.
Very, very stressful. I groaned. Dmitri wants me to meet his dad.
Oh. she said flatly.
I know!! i'm so stressed out. What if his dad doesn't like me?
Hey, hey Calm down. She said in a calming manner. How about we go home and talk to Mr. D. After all, he is a parent, he knows what parents expect.
I took a deep breath to calm myself down.
You're right. I said with confidence. I just need to get home and talk to Mr. D.
That's the spirit!! She said with enthusiasm. And with that we walked home together talking about what to wear and how to act. Maybe this won't be as bad as I thought. Little did I know, I was VERY wrong.
(Dmitri's P.O.V)
I saw Libby and her so called "sister" leave the school talking about how to impress my dad. Oh how much I despise that girl.
I was so glad that after tonight i'll never have to talk to that annoying girl ever again. I just can't wait to see her face when she sees what me and my dad have in store for her. Just wait and see Libby. You deserve what's coming to you.
(Time skip) (Libby's P.O.V)
When we got home we saw Mr. D standing by the counter. Hey Mr. D. I said to him.
Where are the boys? Bree asked.
Downstairs. Mr. D replied.
Then we heard Chase shouting from the basement.
Adam!! Get me down from here!! I heard Chase shout.
I'm gonna go check what that's all about. you coming Libby? Bree asked.
Actually. Mr.D said. I would like to speak to Libby alone. He said.
Okay see you in a bit. Bree said then walked down to the basement.
I actually wanted to talk to you. I said.
Really? He asked.
Yeah! I replied. I need advice. Dmitri asked me to dinner for our 3 month anniversary and he wants me to meet his dad. I told Mr.D.
Well, he said. I think that you should be careful. You never know who can trust and who wants to harm you. Which is why i'm giving you this.
I looked at what he was talking about. He was holding a box. Inside was a pretty necklace. It was very pretty.
It was on a normal chain. But at the end was a pretty gem. I gasped. It was my birthstone. My birthstone was an alexandrite. the birthstone of June. (A/N I don't if that's how you spell the stone's name so I just winged it)
The pretty purple gem was just.. Wow.
I know. He said. But it's not a necklace. it's a security device. If your ever in danger say A.C. it stands for activate camera. The speakers will pick this up and know to start recording. Then it will auto-send the recording to the house and I will see the footage.
Wow. I said. this tiny gem can do all that?

I then went down to the lab to see what all the nonsense was about.
When I got down to the lab, I saw Chase dangling from a wire.
Adam was on the ground yelling up to him. That's payback for the time you did that to me and I broke my arm.
Ugh!! That was a long time a go, why don't you let it go? Chase shouted.

Ugh!! I groaned from the doorway. Adam just let him down. I need Bree to help me get ready for my date.

When all that was over, we sent the boys upstairs to get ready.
(Time skip)
I was ready to go. I was wearing a white see through top with a white undershirt. And I was wearing a light blue skirt that went about an inch above my kneecaps. I wore white flats.
For makeup I had on a little bit of eyeshadow. I also had eyeliner on. I also had on a light pink lipstick color.
I had my necklace/security camera on. I never took that thing off. 5 minutes later Dmitri arrived.
You look pretty. Dmitri told me. Well we should better get going, my dad's expecting us. We were just leaving when little Maddie started crying.
Could you wait here for a minute. I forgot to give Maddie her bottle.
Go on ahead. Dmitri said.
Thanks. I ran up the stairs to Maddie's room.
(Dmitri's P.O.V)
Ugh!! that stupid baby is going to ruin everything. I muttered under my breath. I looked to see if anyone was around.
No one was there. They must all be down in the lab. Marcus's voice came through my watch/communication device. What's going on? His voice said through the watch.
We're about to leave. Her stupid baby started crying, so she's giving her a bottle.
Ugh!! Hurry up! Or you won't get paid.
I'll be there in an hour or less. I told him. I was about to say something else when I heard her footsteps coming down the stairs. I gotta go. I whispered.
Then Libby came down the stairs and then we left.
*5 minutes later*
(Libby's P.O.V)
We arrived in the driveway of a run down house that looked old and run down. We parked in the driveway and went in. We were greeted by a man that looked about Davenport's age. If not a little older. He looked a lot like Dmitri.(A/N: just imagine any adult actor you like because I don't even know what he looks like)
Welcome to my house. You must be Libby. nice to finally meet you. You can call me Mr.Pierce. The man held out his hand and I shook it.
Nice to meet you to Mr.Pierce. I said.
What a nice young lady he said.
He showed us to the dining room. We then sat down and kept chatting.
(dinner)
We were chatting about the night Dmitri asked me to be his girlfriend when Mr.Pierce spoke up.
You know Libby, I know your father.
Oh. I said. You know Mr. Davenport.
Yes but I also know your real father, Doug.
I dropped my fork. I looked up at him and my face was drained of all color.
