*1 day later*
(Libby's P.O.V)
We finally finished unpacking.
How about you kids go to the mall? Mr.D asked.
Why? I asked.
Because, Mr.D replied. it would be a great time to make friends.
Okay. I sighed.
I left the house with Adam, Bree, Chase, and Leo.
*at the mall*
What should we do? Bree asked.
I'm hungry. Adam whined.
Oh, look there's a restaurant over there. I said, pointing to a restaurant that read: Falafel Phil's
We entered the restaurant and sat down.
*5 minutes later*
I was sitting alone. Bree went to the bathroom, Leo went to go flirt with a girl, Chase went to order our food, and Adam was petting the owner's goat.
Some boys wearing red and black gi's walked in the restaurant and stopped by my table.
Hey. One boy with red hair said as he sat down next to me.
Hi? I answered, but it sounded more like a question.
What's a pretty lady like you doing here? He asked, wrapping his arm around me.
I immediately knew he was trying to flirt, so I tried to think of something to get me out of here.
Um, I stuttered. My sister just called, I have to go. I said getting up from my seat and leaving.
He grabbed my wrist.
What's the hurry? He asked. How about you sit back down and we can chat a little. And maybe go out?
I wanted to barf. No thanks. I said as I pulled my wrist away.
What? No one says no to me!! You will pay!! He shouted as he started to bring his fist to my face. I closed my eyes and waited for the pain, but it never came. I slowly opened my eyes and saw a boy standing in front of me catching the boy's fist tightly.
Leave her alone. He said through gritted teeth.
Jack!! I heard the other boy growl.
The boy named 'Jack' kicked the other boy in the gut and sent him flying into the other boys.
Thanks. I said to the boy named 'Jack'.
No problem. He said.
I looked at my phone.
There was a message from Dmitri.
I know where you are hiding. It read.
I bursted into tears.
What's wrong? The boy asked.
Get away from me. I sobbed as I pushed past him.
I ran out of the restaurant and cried until I got home. I zoomed to the basement and sobbed in my capsule all night.
Hey everybody. How did you like the chapter? I know it's not very long, but I promise that the next one will be longer.
