Awakening my powers

"Well as you know I am a goddess and I have alot of special powers but that's not all you have them too.....you are one of the most power out of all the children of the gods".

I was shocked but that would really explain the vines on the bed.

"Have you had any kind of warm tingly feelings lately?".

"Yes but I also had cold feelings". I think I shouldn't have mentioned that because she gasped when I did.

"Oh My Hera". (If y'all don't know Hera is said to be the mother of all gods)

"What is it mom,is something wrong with me?" I was getting really scared right now.

"Okay baby listen.I know you don't know your father but I do".

What the hell does this have to do with my father?!?!

Seeing my confusion she continued," Your father is Zeus.He is the god of thunder,bad weather and lightning".

I have heard of him before but I still don't know how that involves what's happening to me.

"That feeling that you felt hun,is your powers finally awakening,".

Wow that's so awesome!!!!!

"But Mom that's great,why do you look sad?!?".

"Because you didn't get just some of my powers, you got some of your father's too,".

Oh....well.....crap.

"Why is that a bad thing exactly?", I know I might sound stupid but I wanna know.

"Your dad was kind of cruel and he didn't always use his powers for good only. I really don't know if you are gonna be bad or good because powers can manipulate your actions sometimes."

Well.....how do you even reply to that......knowing your own mother thinks you can't handle something??

"Well I know I won't become evil so can we please try my powers now", I was overly excited.

"Okay darling,", she giggled clearly amused.

She went to the corner of the room and took up a cup.She carried it to me and sprinkled some dirt in my hand. Usually I would wonder if there are worms in the soil but now the earthy smell was so calming.

"This portion of soil contains all the nutrients to hold a plant for 5 weeks.I want you to grow a plant right in the middle of the soil,".

She wants me to do.....what?

"It's not hard hun.Just think about the plant you wanna grow and it will grow".

I stared at the soil in my hand wondering if I can do this.Well I can try.

I closed my eyes and thought about my favorite fruit.....apples.I imagined a small little apple sapling ,or whatever there called, is growing out of the soil.I felt my hand warming up and sweat started forming on my forehead.

I felt a sudden electric shock and I open my eyes quickly to see a dark green light coming from my hand.Guess what.....right in my hand in the soil stood a small little apple sapling.

It stretched it's leaves like it was just waking up after a long nap.

"Hello cutie pie," I got the idea that we can talk to them.

"Mama,".

I nearly dropped him/her when I heard the voice in my head.

"Don't be alarmed dear.Any plant that you create can talk to you and you can talk to them," my mom was speaking to me with pride in her voice.

"She/He called me Mama".

"Yes because you are its mother,".

"Mama,",I heard the little voice again and turned my attention to the cute little plant in my hand.It trembled like it was cold so I carefully put it in a small pot and in the sun.

"Are you a boy or girl?", I couldn't keep calling it 'it' now can I.(hahaha)

"I don't know,mama".

Well I always wanted a cute little boy baby.

"Well you are a boy ok and your name will be......Samuel,Sammy for short,".

"Me likies mama," that statement was followed by a big yawn.

"I think someone is sleepy,".

I was about to leave but I heard the little voice again.

"Mama can I get water,pwease,".

I spotted a watering can in the corner and filled it with water from a river that was outside.I was mesmerized by the clean,clear water but I quickly left when I heard a little yawn in my head.

I sprinkled the cool water on my baby boy's head and it looks like he likes it because he keeps turning different ways under the water.I put it down back when I thought it was enough.

"Thankies mama,".

"Your welcome baby boy,".I know I just met him but he means alot too me already.

I heard sniffling behind me and turned to see my mother crying.

"I remember my first time,".I had to roll my eyes.

"Ok no sad time. Let's try some more powers"

Thankk you guys and my computer is completely destroyed but my mom bought me a new phone............yay.(sarcasm)
