Feelings

I collapsed on a couch in the living room feeling exhausted.

A glass of water and plate of cookies was put on the center table.

" Are you okay". I could hear the genuine concern in his voice so it eased my frustration a little.

"I'm fine but should I be ready for a fight everyday or does this happen once a year and I'm just that special?" my irritated tone not hidden.

" Darling you're a really special case to not just the Gods but to the monster world as well"

Was it really such a big deal for two gods to have a child?

What could really happen?

It's not like I can use both powers anyway.

We both sat in silence eating cookies till a booming sound of thunder shook the house.

Hades' face lit up and I looked at him in confused which turned to annoyance as he took my hand and led me outside.

We stood under an umbrella in the pouring rain watching the ground get soaked.

Being the little shit that Hades is, he pushed me on the ground and ran inside.

I stood in the rain, anger running through me.I saw him through the patio doors pointing at my hands and I looked down to see balls of lightning in both of my hands.

Electric sparks were running down my hands but I felt great.

I turned my gaze back to Hades and his little smile irritated me. 

I threw a ball of lightning towards him and he moved out the way as it flew in the house.

A cloud of black smoke appeared beside me but I was slow to react as Hades held my neck and brought me to my knees.

I was having fun and I wasn't gonna be defeated so easily so I used my elbow and hit him in his crotch and kneed him in the face.

His surprise didn't last long though.

He appeared behind me this time holding my hands behind me and putting his mouth close to my ear.

"You're so beautiful, have I ever told you that?"

My anger grew and I brought my head back to hit him square in the face.

I summoned lighting from the sky to strike him over and over and over until there was just his motionless body smoking in a black crater in the ground.

My anger turned to concern when I saw that he really wasn't moving and I quickly ran to check if he was okay.

I put my ear to his chest searching for a heartbeat but heard nothing.

Fear and anguish tore at my chest as I sat and stared at his body.

Suddenly, bony hands rose from the ground and pinned my to the ground.

Hades sat up and dusted off his shirt with a smug grin.

" That was really good sweetheart. Very impressive. 8/10 though"

" I thought u were dead" my raspy voice coming through as tears ran down my face.

" I work and control dead people, do you think I would have a heartbeat?"

He summoned the hands to let me go and turning away from his concerned stare, I ran inside.
