"When u were just born,I held a party to celebrate.I named you Persephone because the name was beautiful,just like you......."

I wonder why my name was changed.

"......the party was going on fine until Hades arrived......."

I read about him in mom's books.He is the king of the underworld.

"Most of the men at the party were already entranced by your beauty but Hades was spell bounded.He came to me after the party and said that he wanted you.I was not gonna give you up so I told him no.He threatened to have me banished from Mount Olympus and he could do it because I had done alot of bad things when I was young and believe me,I regret them all.Anyway,I told him that he could get you next week but when he came for you we were already gone.I carried you to the human world and used my powers to put yours to sleep.I left you with your human sister and her human father because I knew you were special.I renamed you Alex because I didn't want Hades to find you.Hades became angry though and had me kicked out of Mount Olympus.That's why I live out here by myself."

I felt bad for my mom.She was trying to protect me and was kicked out of her home.

I slowly started to get angry.

What did my mom do to deserve this?

What is so special about me that this 'hades' person had to have my mom banished?

All these angry thoughts swirled in my mind.I felt my power rising but it wasn't a warm feeling,it was cold and dark.

"Alex!!!!!" the two voices shouting my name brought me back to reality.

There was a strong breeze blowing and lightning was flashing furiously outside.

My palms were shining a dark blue and I quickly closed them.

The wind and lightning stopped almost immediately.

I fell to the floor suddenly feeling tired and very cold.

My mom rushed to my side and pulled me into her lap.

"D-Did I d-do that?" I couldn't even speak properly because I was shaking.

"It doesn't matter baby,just sleep" my mom was using her powers to warm me up and it was working.

I listened to my mom humming until darkness started creeping into my vision and I welcomed it.
