Have you ever woken up in a field? No I didn't think so. Well let me tell you it's not exactly fucking comfortable. "Shit" Aron groaned as he lifted his head from the picnic blanket. "You can say that again" I moaned tiredly. "Shit" Aron repeated, laughing weakly. I felt pretty weak too. Promise me something, NEVER sleep in a field. Aron got up properly and pulled on his jacket with a shiver, it was a cold morning. All misty and shit. I was thankful that my hair was still plaited so it wouldn't go nuts til later. I pulled on my jacket too. We packed up the blankets, wrappers and empty plates then started to walk back to the car. I got in the back and pulled one of the blankets over me and fell asleep. Aron drove me back to my place, I asked him in knowing Jess would be with Jake at his place. He came in with me, pulled off his jeans and got into bed. I did the same and we both went to sleep straight away. We woke up later, feeling better. I made coffee and we sat on the couch drinking it, watching some mindless crap on t.v. Aron suggested a walk in the park, I agreed and got changed. Aron had left his black t-shirt last time he stayed so he put that on and scrubbed the blue stuff out of his hair. I got a really quick shower and wore jeans and a Pikachu top with my black zip-up jacket. We left quickly not wanting to see Jess stumbling home, a mess. I've seen it before it's not pretty, people. We walked through he park at a leisurely pace. Afterward we had breakfast in some random French sounding café. Croissants and coffee with cream and a bowl of strawberries and blueberries, it was a very laid back place. Aron and I promised to go there soon. We went to the art museum and I started complaining about how I needed to hurry up and get started with all my art commissions (I'm a commission artist, people pay me to draw stuff for them). Aron requested one too and I said "Work me to death, why don't you?" and threw my hands up, this was a bad move. Aron started tickling me and I laughed and fell on the floor. We got kicked out and I was pissed at Aron for a while but you gotta forgive his wittle face. So I did and we went for ice cream. Aron insisted on paying for both. I got vanilla with chocolate sauce and rainbow sprinkles. Aron got strawberry with chocolate sprinkles. We sat on a bench in front of this huge water fountain. I looked up at it's intricate designs as they spouted water. It was beautiful especially as the pinkish light of sunset danced across each delicate spiral. I was too busy staring up at the fountain to notice Aron leaning in to kiss me and I was surprised when he planted a kiss on my cheek. "Oh!" I gasped. Aron laughed at my surprise. I laughed too. "Beth" Aron said. "Yes?" I asked. He opened his mouth to say something, then closed and mumbled 'nothing.' I noticed he looked troubled. I hugged him, he tensed. He's wincing. "Are you sore or something Aron? Y-you winced" I asked worriedly. He just shook his head and gave me a smile. I could tell something was wrong. I decided not to push it, but it niggled in the back of my mind. What was Aron hiding?
