"Ella!" I whispered excitedly.

"That may be hard to open from in here, but it's super easy to pick a lock," she replied.

Their attentions were grabbed by Morgana, who looked like she was done with her potion.

"Go back out," I told her. "and wait for my signal."

She nodded before closing the door just as Morgana turned to look at us with her evil grin.  Pointing her hand and chanting a few words, the green light beamed from her hand. Snow White embraced Rapunzel, but they all looked around in confusion when nothing happened.

"Don't you see?" I smirked. "The spell won't work if you don't have all the princesses."

"But..."

"You do have all of them?" I guessed. "Except you don't. You're missing one."

Morgana cursed and started for the portal door, but I knocked on it and she came in, revealing herself.

Here's my time, I thought, launching myself at the evil witch. Cinderella used the chance to get all the princesses out of the realm while Hunter helped me sudue her.

"Run Mina!" he yelled.

"What do you mean?" I asked. She suddenly threw me off by swinging a heavy punch to my head. I groaned and fell onto the floor as Morgana scrambled up.

I felt Hunter pull me up to my feet and towards the door as Morgana stumbled around before finding her balance.

"I can't trap them in here, but I can still get rid of you!" she screamed, yelling a boatload of words I could never be able to decipher.

"Haven't you forgotten?" Hunter asked. "I'm still your son and that makes me a wizard too!"

He opened the door and pulled both of us out, chanting the same spell Morgana had tried to use. As she ran to save herself, the whole ship disappeared as a blue light beamed from his hand and I blanked out yet again.

Standing in front of the grave, I watched Daddy set a bunch of white roses onto her gravestone

Standing in front of the grave, I watched Daddy set a bunch of white roses onto her gravestone.

"Is mommy ever coming back?" I asked, but he didn't move a muscle. Daddy began to act strange. He showed no emotions. No more love or care. I watched his life sink as he drunk it all away.

Years passed and I still remember when a beautiful blonde woman knocked on the door as I opened.

"Hello little girl," she smiled. "Is your dad home?"

I nodded, pointing to the kitchen. She let herself in and I eavesdropped through the door. All I could hear was screaming, crying, and something shattering the ground. The pretty girl came back out, tears staining her face and clothes wrinkled and messy.

That was when I noticed that she was a rather large woman. Her belly was much bigger than any other woman's I had ever seen.

"Daddy, she's pretty," I told him when he also came out of the kitchen. The woman gave me a faint smile and kneeled down.

"How would you like a little sibling?" she asked me sweetly.

"I'd love it!" I squealed. "Are we getting one?"

She nodded, happy to see my cheerful face. But back then, I hadn't noticed my dad's grim expression and the heaviness in my new step-mom's heart.

*Back to the Present*

Groaning, I fell onto a hard surface and looked up to see a familiar room. I was back in the bathroom with the book laying on the counter and the watch on top.

"I'm back!" I sighed in relief, taking the book and rushing out of the bathroom. My first instinct was to run to Lark, but I heard my dad grumble from the kitchen and turned back around.

"Don't take no for an answer," I told myself, repeating Hunter's words.

Opening up the door, I yanked my father's arm. This time he didn't stumble. At least he was sober enough to keep his balance.

"Dad, you're going to listen to me now. I'm putting you in rehab."

His already dilated eyes darkened as he scoffed and pulled away.

"And I'm not taking no for answer," I told him, making sure he would listen. "You have been his way ever since mom died. It was hard on both of us, but now you have a loving wife and two children to take care of. You need to act like a father."

He was about to argue when his eyes fell onto the book of fairy tales that I had in one of my hands. My dad took it and traced the letters, nodding without making eye contact.

I sighed in relief. He was going to take one step at a time to recover, starting with rehab and then marriage counseling.

There's one thing I had to do left before I could relax. Grabbing a jacket, I headed out the door and made my way to the main street where I could see the little shop.

As I got to the entrance, I opened the door right when someone else was walking out and dropped the watch I held in my hand.

I bent forward to pick it up and knocked my forehead into someone else's, who had also reached down. Tilting my eyes back up, they came back into contact with familiar green ones.

A/N: And it's over. Not exactly the most amazing ending but I'm okay with it. Thanks for reading!
