"My prince," I said sweetly, looking at Prince Charming. I had been keeping up this facade for 2 days, making sure that I sounded like I was in love. Let me just tell you, it's exhausting.

"Yes my love?" he asked me. I looked into his blue eyes and smiled.

"I was wondering if we could have another ball," I said sweetly.

"Your wishes are my command."

I gave him a kiss on the cheek before leaving. Thank goodness, I thought. This is the end. I should be able to reverse what happened.

My plan was simple. Switch us back. Ok maybe not that simple, but it had to be done somehow and I knew the person I needed to talk to.

"Thomas!" I shouted excitedly as I saw the prince round the corner.

"Hello Mina. Did you need something?" he asked politely. Oh boy, I thought. This was going to hard to explain without him thinking I'm a psycho.

"You know Lady Tremaine right?" I asked him.

"Ella's stepmother?" he asked. "Yes she's the one who turned her into a servant."

"No! She's not Cinderella's mother! She's yours!" I revealed, but growled in frustration as Thomas just looked at me, confused.

"You must be mistaken. That would have made us siblings and my mother passed away a long time ago," he persisted.

"Actually you're from a place called Earth and your evil witch mother cursed you so you would forget and think that you're part of this fairytale," I ranted. Instead of confused, he was now a little frightened.

"I have to go now Mina. I'll talk to you at the ball," he stuttered before taking off. Well that went perfectly, I thought with a roll of my eyes.

The ball was held that night and I thanked fairytales for somehow always setting up the ball in a few hours. I know it's a book and all but still it was pretty impressive.

I was wearing an elegant teal gown with my hair up in a halo braid. Cinderella smiled at me from the other side of the room. This time she was wearing a pale blue sparkling gown with her blonde hair up in a twist. Prince Thomas stood next to her. He looked handsome in a white suit with gold cuffs and buttons.

I was surprised that Charming didn't say anything about me looking at his so-called brother, but remembered that it was a fairytale and there was no such thing as negative emotions like jealousy. Sometimes this world irritated me but sometimes it was nice for a change.

Looking around, I was frozen in shock when I saw Cinderella's stepmother. Now that I knew she was really a villian in the real world, I couldn't help but notice a different type of evil to her, a more dark and sinister look.

Shivering, I ignored the woman. I wouldn't let her ruin my plans for Cinderella's happily ever after and my goal to find my way home.

The ball had already probably been going on for an hour now and there was no sign that the scene was changing to the ball where she had lost her slipper. I would have to take matters into my own hands.

Looking around, I tried to spot the unique colored gown that no other woman had on, but I couldn't find her. Prince Thomas was talking to the Duke, so I excused myself and pulled him to the side.

"Where did Cinderella go?" I asked him.

"She left to talk to her mother a few minutes ago," he told me. I gasped. Morgana must be making her mark.

I started running to the entrance. I could hear Thomas after me, catching up and roughly pulling my arm.

"Where are you going?" he demanded. I sighed and answered the prince.

"I'm going to find Cinderella," I grumbled. "She's been kidnapped."

"What?! By who?!"

"Who do you think? You'r ecrazy mother!"

"I already told you, she's not my-"

"Yeah yeah I know!" I growled. "Come on Hunter! Yes that's your name!"

He was about to argue, but I really didn't have time for this, so I just tugged on his arm so that he'd follow me outside.

His emerald eyes hardened. "Alright. Can you please tell me what's happening? And who you are because you are certainly not from here."

"My name's Mina. I'm from Earth and I was sent here to stop Lady Tremaine, who's planning on getting rid of your princess so we need to go now," I said quickly. He tugged me back and started talking.

"I don't believe you for one second," he told me truthfully. "Are you ill?"

I rolled my eyes. I was truly done with these ignorant people.

"No I'm not. I didn't think you would believe me anyways, but if you want your precious wife back then you need to help me!"

Thomas gave me a soft look and nodded. "I don't know what's going on, but if Cinderella's in trouble then I'll help you."

Thank goodness, I thought. Hopefully he would gain his memory or believe that he was a totally different person after he saw that this was all actually happening. It was a long shot, but right now I was only worried about Ella.

I held out the open pocketwatch. Instead of a clock, it had turned into a compass. Grabbing it out of Hunter's hand, I started following the compass, which automatically pointed in the direction we needed to go. Heading North, I launched into this ridiculous tale about his evil mother who wanted to steal these princesses' happy endings while secretly wishing that I would get my own someday.
