Eleven

Nico's pov

   I wake up in the imfermery. Remembering the fight with the hellhounds and y/n getting hurt I kick myself for getting her hurt. I know I told myself that she wouldn't want me blaming myself but I still did blame myself. I hear someone shuffling. "N-Nico...." I hear a female voice say. I look up and see y/n awake. "Y/n, are you alright? Do you want me to get? Do you want me to get you something to eat?" I help her up as I talk. "I'm fine. But something to eat would be nice. Um, Nico?" "Yeah?" I sit on the bed next to her. "How long was I out?" I grab her hand. "Just a day. You had Kayla and I worried." I hear someone walk in and I see Kayla. She runs over and hugs her sister. "I brought you both some food," she says as she sits in the chair. She changed out of her dress into a camp Half-blood shirt, shorts, her hair was put up and she had a sword at her waist. Does that girl always have a weapon on her? "Thank you. How much people got hurt last night?" "Not a lot. Yours was the worst," Kayla states. "And I told you not to keep on fighting when you got hurt. Listen to me next time." Kayla hits her playfully. "Is Hazel still here?" Both girls look at me. "Yeah, but Frank had to go back," I get up and kiss y/n's forehead. "I'm going to go talk to her." I hug Kayla since it could be the last time I see her. As I walk out of the imfermery I could hear Kayla telling her sister that she's lucky.

I walk over to the sword arena. I see Hazel fighting a few Ares kids. And shockingly she was wining. She was wearing a camp Jupiter shirt even though she was at Camp Half-blood, with jeans and her hair was down.

After a few minutes of watching her she pins Clarrise down with her sword at her throut. I hear Clarrise mutter something about revenge but Hazel seems to not care. "Nico!" She runs up and hugs me. I don't like people touching me but she's my sister. It's alright. "How have you been?" She asks when she let's go. "Good, you?" She blushes and shows me her hand. There's a black ring with a silver arrow. It's on her middle finger. "It's a promise ring Frank gave me." She says happy. I look up at her and pull her in for a hug. It must have shocked her since it took her a while to hug back. "Get back here!" I hear someone scream. I look over to see Kayla chasing after y/n. I smile a little at them. I'm happy that y/n as found someone who completely understands her. Who she can talk to that's family. "One on one?" Y/n asks once she got to me. "Dang, that girl is fast." Kayla says out of breath. "You to ahead I'll watch" Hazel tells me as she walks twords the grass outside of the arena. I walk into the arena with y/n. "I'll go easy since you just got hurt," I get into starting position. She just smriks and that's when I know I'm dead. She tries to hit my side but I move out of the way. I try to kick the sword out of her hand and I manage to but she pulls out a dagger. "Seriously?" She nods and disappears. I realize that moving where I did put her into the shadows allowing her Shadow Travel witch gives her the element of surprise. I feel a cold metal on my neck and hear y/n's soft voice in my hear. "Drop the sword," I drop the sword not even meaning to. Then it clicks. Charmspeak. "You have charmspeak?" I ask. She pulls the dagger away and I turn to face her. She had a little bit of sweat on her face. She changed into a grey top and blue shorts. Her hair was pulled into a ponytail with her bangs dangling framing her face. She nods at my qestion. "You owe me five dollars now." Kayla says to Hazel as y/n and I walk twords them. "You bet on this?" Y/n asks. "Yeah." Kayla told us matter of factly as she took the money from Hazel's hand. 

   "Nico! Y/n!" Someone yells. I turn to see a out of breath Percy. "What's wrong?" Y/n helps Percy stand up and catch his breath. "Astor... kidnapped," before Percy could finish y/n was running twords the big house. "Rec room?" He nods. I jump into the nearest shadow and shadow travel to the big house. I got there after y/n. She was just opening the door to the rec room
"We need a quest." She says as she walks in. I walk in behind her. Chiron was in his wheel chair, Conner and Travis Stroll were pranking Clarrise, Annabeth was cleaning her dagger, and Katie (I think she's cabin counselor of Demter), Percy ran into the room behind me. He sat down next to Annabeth. "Come, y/n, sit down." Chiron taps the chair next to him. Y/n doesn't even flinch. She crosses her arms and stands. Chiron gives up. "We're here because Astor was kidnapped-" "so that means we need a quest to get him back." Y/n's tone was cold. "Y/n-" "No! We need to get him back. Send the best fighters, the best we have." By then all eyes were on her. No one ever talked back to Chiron. "Y/n, let me speak. It's to dangerous. We don't know were he is. No one can go, that includes you. We need to keep everyone here safe." Chiron's tone was calm. "You're right. Everyone at camp needs to be safe, and that includes Astor. I'm going without or with out anyone's help." She states and then leaves. Everyone looks at Chiron. He sighs. "I'll go talk to her." I say. "No! I speak girl and she's my sister," Kayla says. How she got there no idea. I nod and take a seat.

Kayla's pov (start song)

I run out of the big house to see y/n. I walk up to her.  "Y/n?" She turns around and glares at me. "I guess you agree with Chiron, you're going to tell me to stay at camp were I'm safe." I stare at her. I realize that I can't change her mind but I can keep her safe if I go with her. "I wasn't going to tell you that, I was going to go with you. I can't change your mind so I can keep you safe if I go with you." She stares at me. "You're joking," I shake my head. She hugs me. "Thank you. I can't let him die thinking I hate him." She pulls away. "Chiron doesn't agree to how are we going to do this?" She smriks. Like a I-have-a-crazy-idea smrik. She walks into the big house with me behind her. She opens the door and simply says "anyone who wants to come with me meet me at Thalia's tree tomorrow at nine sharp." Then closes the door. "Well I geuss that works." She chuckles. "Are you sure you want to do this? You'll be breaking the rules, and putting your self in danger-" "I'm positive, I'll always be by your side not matter what. And that's a fact. You my sister and I wouldn't know what to do with myself if you got hurt." She smiles and I pull into the another hug. "Thank you. For helping me. And not yelling." I hug her tightly allowing a couple tears come out of my eyes. "Always."
