Hatred

-Maddie's POV-

"Hey Ash.." I said quietly, blushing. He turned around and faced me, "Yeah? What is it Maddie?" He asked. "I- um- I have to say something.." At this point, my cheeks were as hot as fire. "Okay then, what is it?"
"Can we talk somewhere more private?" I asked, taking a sip of my drink. "Okay, how about the roof?" He suggested. "Okay." I nodded.

While walking up the stairs, I felt my cheeks get redder at each step I take. How am I supposed to do this? How do I say this? My heart was beating so fast that I didn't even realize we reached the rooftop.

Ash opened the door and we both stepped inside at the same time. I looked at the view, it was almost sunset. This was perfect. I have to tell him! I need to tell him! This is my only chance!

"What do you wanna say?" He asked. I took a deep breath and responded,

"I love you."

I instantly blushed madly as I looked down the ground, my heart was beating so fast that that was the only sound I could hear. I was waiting for a reply. I waited, waited, and waited. I slowly looked up,

"Maddie..."

At this point, my heart felt like it was going I pop, what was he gonna say? Will he return my feelings for him? Or will he not? What? What? What?!?!

"Maddie... (Y/N)... Uh.. She..."

"She what?"

"She already told me this.. And I did too..."

My heart suddenly broke, and I could feel tears forming on my eyes, but I didn't let them fall. Anger, jealousness and sadness rose within me.

"Maddie? Are you ok?"

My anger was suddenly replaced with happiness, "Huh, oh, yes, I'm ok." I forced a smile on my face.

"I'm really sor-"

"It's fine."

"Are you sure?"

I nodded, "Yep!"

"Well then, I'll see you at class!"

"Yeah, see you too!"

After he left, I looked up the sky and replaced my smile with an evil expression,

"Don't think you'll get away so easily, (Y/N)..."

Ohhhh, this is starting to get really intense! Also sorry the admitting part was awful, I couldn't think straight cause I'm so mad at those stupid nurses.. (Look at the chapter 9 of my book Randomness and you'll see what I mean)
