We went through the rest of lunch with Lauren, Oliver, and I asking Jamie questions to try to get to know him. After a while, I could tell that he was uncomfortable so, I figured that we had harrassed him enough for one day.

"Okay guys, we've asked him enough questions. We're scaring him." I said to Oliver and Lauren. Just then the bell rang. All four of us got up from the table, waved goodbye, and went our seperate ways. Me and Lauren went to English, while Oliver went to trigonometry, and Jamie went to AP English. That is one smart dude. Now that I thought about it he's in all honors classes, so that meant that he should be on the honor roll. I never take the time to look at it because I'm not on it. That may sound conceeded but it just reminds me of how close I get every marking period. After English I walked over to the bulletin board outside the principal's office and looked at the bright orange paper that said "Honor Roll". There his name was, first on the list. When Lauren saw me staring she said,

"Don't you hate looking at that thing. What's so interesting about it now?"

"Yeah, but I want to find out more about Jamie, and since he's in all AP classes and is so smart it would only make sense that he would be on the list. I didn't expect him to be first. See look." I said pointing to the paper where it said "Jamie Flores".

"Wow, it almost sounds like you like him." Lauren said with a smirk on her face.

"Not a chance. He's not my type." I said frowning at Lauren. Why would she even make a comment like that? After two more periods went by school was finally over. The whole time I heard Lauren's words in my head. I knew it wasn't true so I don't know why it bothered me so much. After school, Jamie, Oliver, Lauren, and I met up. Oliver kissed me goodbye and Lauren hugged me because they walked the opposite way that I did. When I found out that Jamie lived near by where I did I was highly grateful. I wouldn't have to walk alone anymore.

"So what street do you live on?" I asked softly.

       "Violet Road." He replied.

" No way! That's right down the street from where I live." I said a little more excited then I meant for it to come out.

"That's great" he replied just as excitedly.

"We can walk to school together in the morning . Call me." I wrote my number on a piece of paper and put it in his hand. "Oh look, this is my house. I gotta go. Thanks for walking me home." I hugged him. When we pulled away and looked into to each others eyes. Those grey eyes were mesmorizing. Before I even knew what I was doing I kissed him on the cheek. He looked confused for a second and then relaxed.

"Bye, remember to call." I said softly almost in a whisper.

"Bye" he said just as low and turn away.
