Chapter 8

    "Really now?" I shook my head, giggling at Jamie.

    "C'mon, we were having a moment.You just ruined it." He said disappointed.

    " We have the rest of our lives to have moments but, right now I am starving so lets get to the cafeteria." I grinned.

   "Okay, Missy. I'm hungry too." he smiled back. We walked to the lunchroom and took seats at our normal table. Lauren was already there and Oliver was going to be late like always.

   "Hey Lauren. What's up?" Jamie said greeting Lauren. I smiled.Damn he's adorable with that smile of his.

   "Hey best friend." I said with a wide smile on my face as we did our handshake.

    "Where were you? I had to walk here from class by myself. You were gone for like half of class."  Lauren whine with a puppy dog face.

    "Sorry, on my way to the bathroom I saw Jamie. and we had an little conversation." I said with a smirk on my face. Then, I wiped it off because Lauren would get suspicious.

     "What did you guys talk about? It had to be a good conversation since you were gone for so long." She said with a shrug.

     "Nothing much. Nothing really." Jamie and I answered in unison. Then we looked at each other and then looked down. We are horrible at hiding things. Lauren is so gonna be on to us.

     "Sure, whatever you say." she said sarcastically.

     "It's true!" I said quickly.

     "Why so defensive then?" she said smirking.

     "I am not being defensive and I really have to use the bathroom now so I'm gonna go." I said as I got up and made my way to the bathroom. As I was walking I saw Lauren say something to Jamie. And I face palmed myself. This is bad! Just then Oliver was walking my way.

     "Hey babe. Where you going?" He kissed me on the cheek.

     "To the bathroom and then I'll be back in the cafeteria." I said with the fakest smile I can give him.

      "Okay." He said smiling. This is really really bad! What am I gonna do?!
