I think I might die. I could barely even breathe by the time I got to the bathroom. No, not from walking, I'm having a freakin' panic attack. Then I heard someone come through the door. I literally ran into one of the stalls. Holy shizz, this could so ruin my rep. Wait, I honestly don't give a flying fudge about my rep now. What I'm really worried about is how long I can keep this thing between Jamie and I a secret from Oliver.
"Abagail, it's me." I heard Lauren's voice. I breathed out for the first time in like five minutes. "Abagail, what's up between you and Jamie?" she asked curiously. I walked out the stall.
"Nothing is up between Jamie and I." I say calmly.
"Girl, you know you are horrible at lying especially to me. It's kinda obvi. It's practically writen on your faces." She said smirking. "Now tell me, what was your conversation really about." she said more seriously.
"Fine, there really wasn't a conversation. There was more action than talking done there." I said calmly knowing I can trust Lauren. She is my best friend after all.
"OMG!!! Don't tell me you did that with Jamie!" she said with her jaw dropped open.
"Hell no!! I mean we were making out." I said my voice trailing off as I went on.
"How long has this been going on?" Lauren finally closed her mouth and asked with interest.
"About three weeks now." I said with a little more confidence.
"So basically right after you met him."she said calmly. "Why didn't you tell me?" she said pretending to be hurt.
"I just didn't know how. It was kinda awkward at first, too. Whatever you do, I swear that you cannot tell or give the slightest hint to Oliver. Not only would it be the end of Oliver and I's relationship, it would be the end of Jamie, period. So, promise you won't tell?" I took a deep breath.
"I promise." Lauren said sincerely.
"Good. Let's head back to the cafeteria. Lauren and I walked in the hall giggling and laughing. Yeah, it was all fun and giggles until we reached the lunchroom.
"Holy Shit!" Lauren and I said in unison.
