Good times

I left the stables and headed towards the road I knew where the Sherrif office was and whether Chase wanted to avoid me or not he's gonna teach me to ride cause here in Montanna we don't break promises.

I passed through the Makeshift swing and stopped as I recalled when me and Chase played here most days
"Hey Sally, I hope when we grow up that me and you will never be far apart" chase said gently pushing my swing

"Chase, I hope so too because I enjoy being close to you"

The memories came back to me I really missed him even when I went to the city it was hard not to see his face.

I left there and went to the Sherrif office.

I sat down in my office going through some files i was distracted because of the fact I saw Sally today I couldn't stop thinking about her right from the day she left montanna I miss her badly I hoped for the day I'll see her again but now that the time has come I can't face her

The bell in front of the door chimed informing the presence of another person I looked up just to see my first love walking towards me my hands were sweaty again I hope she doesn't ask for an handshake again.

"Hey Excuse am asking of the Sherrif" she said smiling brightly.

All the other agents looked up and just stared

"Oh Hello you must be Sally nice to meet you" my Deputy Agnes greeted her

"Yes am Sally just came into town today mind if I talk to Sherrif"

"No, go ahead his in there" Agnes said pointing at my door
The closer she came the more nervous I became

"May I come in" came her lovely voice I can never forget

"Yes you may enter " I responded and thank the lord I didn't stutter

"Please can I have some of your time" she asked as she stepped in
I just sat there staring at her gorgeous face she just became more beautiful
Oh no what am I thinking I need to keep my distance
"Yes but do hurry up am pretty busy" I responded somewhat codly she then slowly frown I didn't want to hurt her and I just suceeded in doing that
"At least can I sit" she asked again what type of jerk am I, I didn't even offer her a seat
"Sorry my bad, you may seat" I said sincerely pointing my hands toward the seat opposite me

"Thank you" she said sitting down
"Sherrif Chase I don't know what to say but I can't hide the fact that I missed you I didn't know my best friend will become the Sherrif"

She missed me I was so glad so she too never forgot me
"Well I didn't know too Sally but please when we are here call me chase"

"I just came to tell you Ehm......... Chase that I wanna learn how to ride a horse and you promised to teach me" she said politely

Oh that's right I can remember the day when I told her I'll teach her to ride
No chase you didn't tell her you promised her
My conscience spoke to me

"Alright Miss Sally but not today I don't know when I'll be free since am the Sherrif"

"Ok then I'll be going its nice to know you aren't avoiding me" she stood up stretching her hands and I couldnt help but notice the ring for the third time
"I see you kept my ring " I said standing up and taking her hands this time
"I couldn't afford to lose it  when it was given to me by a precious friend"
I truly felt honoured I brought her hands to my lips and kissed it
"I feel honoured by your compliment".
