The trip to the Solo's hometown took about two hours, driving. On top of that, it was raining heavily so Kylo wanted to drive Rey safely there. They arrived at Takodana county which was more in the countryside. The town was built in 1863 during the Civil War and was considered a historical site where many battles took place. Rey observed from the passenger's window the large greenish acre farms. She loved nature and greenish sceneries after being accustomed to living in a city her whole life. Apparently, she was born in a farmhouse, something her old caretakers told her when she was young. If only they never abandoned her... Maybe Rey would already have a good education, a decent home and better opportunities in life.

The car made a right turn and suddenly large estates began to appear. "Those you see there are colonial homes," Kylo explained while they drove around the huge homes. "My parents' one too."

After driving around these luxurious homes Kylo made a left turn finally stopping in front of a white large gate. Lowering the car's window, Kylo reached to push a button. Leia's voice then sounded through the intercom and the gates opened. It was a long driveway made of gravel that directed them to the house. Kylo often wondered why couldn't Han Solo invest in tar instead. Car tires could be ruined because of the horrible gravel. His father preferred to waste money on junk so why not on a decent driveway to their colonial house.

"There it is," He pointed out as the convertible car parked in front of the house. "Han Solo's estate."

After he got out of the car he then helped her to get out too. Rey looked around the place but her hazel eyes were fixated on the white mansion in front of them.

"What a gorgeous home," an impressed Rey said. 'You were raised here?"

"Yes," he answered crossing both arms above his chest, "I spent my entire youth inside that house while they were always busy. This place also witnessed a couple of wild school parties."

"Really?" She asked amused, "Did your parents knew?"

He smirked at Rey, "Those were good times. Besides, they wouldn't even care. "

Rey wrapped her arms around his neck and gazed into the face of the man she loved, "Kylo, about your father, I think you should try to come on good terms with him."

Letting out a sigh of frustration, "Why? He's nothing but a fool who only cares about himself, Rey." With one arm, he grabbed Rey giving her a hard kiss on her lips. "Let's just focus on ourselves, alright?"

"Fine," she answered returning the kiss. "But don't think I won't keep insisting on you two getting along."

The sound of foot steps approaching alerted the young couple breaking their embrace. Leia followed by Han Solo was heading toward them. The first to greet Rey was their hairy brown mutt Chewie who quickly jumped at her. Rey kneeled down to pet the adorable dog who laid on his back for her to belly rubbed him. "THAT will be Chewie," Han told Rey. Leia then hugged her son.

"I'm glad you made it," she said to Kylo.

Han Solo extended his long arm toward his son who stared at him coldly. Both men observed each other silently perceiving their existence. Kylo then extended his after seeing both Rey and Leia's worried expressions. "Good to see you, son." Han greeted Kylo in a serious tone.

"Sure," was all Ren said to him, shoving his hands in his pockets not looking at his father anymore. This hurt Han seeing his son turning to look away from him. To Han, Kylo was still his beloved boy even when he was getting rejected like that.

Leia cleared her throat and turned to look at Rey. "And I believe this must be my future daughter in law. What an honor to have you here, young lady!" Leia exclaimed before hugging an embarrassed Rey. "She's pretty too."
